Quickie: A Love Hotel Story News

Hi all!

As we near the end of the month, it's clear we unfortunately still need a bit more time for Q:LHS v0.29. We're extremely sorry to keep delaying this build, but we really want Reika's end to her main story as special as possible, which has made Reika's Heart 5 event the biggest so far in terms of h-scene content.

With that said, we’re committing to a Q:LHS v0.29 release on December 7th PST. This will give us enough time to finish Reika’s Heart 5 event and any last minute adjustments/polish.

That being said... we really hope you enjoy our first small but sexy Halloween update with Reika! ;) And to celebrate the Halloween update, the game will also be on sale for the next week from 10am October 31st (PST)!

A new hotel invite has been added for Reika in the new Halloween Room fantasy suite! You and Reika are pulled into a strange (but sexy) adventure after a bizarre encounter with a fortune teller.

Content in Q:LHS v0.29 has been progressing, but not as well as we hoped in the recent months as the team has been hit with illness and dealt with a house move. We’re incredibly sorry that this has caused us to take a little longer than expected, but we’ll be delaying the release until late November. (A roadmap on what you may expect in v0.29 can be found here)

However, as we don’t want you to go without any content this month - we will be adding a small but sexy Halloween update on October 31st (PST)! This update will include a new hotel room and hotel invite scene with Reika.

We apologize again for the delay as we know some of you were looking forward to seeing the end to Reika’s story… but we really hope you enjoy the Halloween update at the end of this month and that v0.29 will be worth the wait! We think it will be ;)

Hey All!

After every update, we post a quick road map highlighting what you can expect in the update to follow. For Q:LHS v0.29, our main focus will be finishing Reika’s story by completing her Heart 4 and 5 events.

Q:LHS v0.29 is scheduled to release sometime in October for Steam!

♥ REIKA HEART 4 AND 5 EVENTS (WITH H-SCENES)
We'll be finishing Reika’s story by adding her Heart 4 and 5 events in v0.29! Her Heart 5 event will include multiple h-scenes and will make Reika the second love interest to have their story complete.

♥ MORE HANGOUTS
Two new hangouts will be added! A new Reika hangout will be available after her Heart 4 event and another Toshiko hangout after her Heart 4 event.

> OPTIONAL KAITO VOICE LINES
We'll be adding optional voice lines for Kaito, used throughout the game and h-scenes. We’ll also be adding a few options to customize how Kaito’s voice is played (eg, toggle to not play Kaito’s voice during h-scenes).

Thank you again for your support and patience while we worked on our latest update for Steam!

With a new heart event and a new hangout, we're happy to have Toshiko's storyline move into a more intimate territory and also one step closer to it's finale. We also really hope you enjoy meeting Kyder - voiced by the team's cat, Buddy! :)

We continue Toshiko’s story with her Heart 4 event! Her Heart 4 event will be available after receiving a call from Toshiko a few days after finishing her Heart 3 event (or immediately if you’ve already completed her Heart 3 event in previous builds).

[h3]♥ 3 New Hangouts![/h3]

New hangouts are now available for Aria (after heart 3) at NEON Rooftop, Toshiko (after heart 4) at Game Palace and Reika (after heart 3) at Ueno Park!

STORY UPDATES

• Added: Toshiko heart 4 event (with h-scenes).

GENERAL UPDATES

QUICKIE HOTEL MANAGER UPDATES

• Added new rooms: Shinjuku Double and Single rooms.
  
• 1x New guest animation used in Fairy-tale, Karaoke, Dungeon, Dojo and Gym Rooms.
  

BUG FIXES

• Tutorial achievements are now rewarded even if it’s skipped.
  
• Fixed Kaito animation bug during cutscenes.
  
• Fixed instance where Toshiko was available to work at My Whiskey.
  
• Busts no longer hide when the Hide UI button is used.
  
• Tidied up log file to make it easier to read.
  
• Added a few options in the setting file to help diagnose a couple of rare bugs.
