This update contains important bug fixes and a revision of the Lost Island Map.

The interface of the Lost Island Map has been optimized and structurally adapted. Particular attention was paid to improving the frame rates. As a result, significant increases of around 20 to 30 FPS were achieved (depending on the hardware).

The two other DLC maps now also have improved frame rates.

On Ultra settings, you can now expect to achieve around 60 to 80+ FPS (depending on the hardware).

Today, another extensive update has been released. As you may have noticed in the past few days, regular smaller and larger updates have been provided.

This latest update includes crucial bug fixes and a revision of the Lost Island Map. The two DLC maps have also undergone minor adjustments.

The Lost Island Map now features a new surface, accompanied by various optimizations to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Unfortunately, there are still issues with the frame rate on the Lost Island Map. I am actively working to optimize the framerates on this particular terrain.

Furthermore, various sound bugs have been addressed, and adjustments have been made to the magazine of one of the pistols to prevent it from sticking beside the weapon.

The muzzle effect on the weapons has also been slightly tweaked.

[h3]End of the Early Access Process[/h3]

I am considering concluding the Early Access process on February 26, 2024, while development continues as usual.

I chose February 26 as it marks the date when the game entered the Early Access phase.

Given that KeepUp Survival is a sandbox game primarily focused on base building and survival, we can confidently exit the Early Access process. The concept of sandbox gameplay should be familiar to most.

After the transition, as mentioned earlier, development will proceed as usual. Additional content, including the free map, will continue to be added.

Issues after an Update?

Please note that you should only proceed with the following steps if you are familiar with the process, as each individual is responsible for their own actions.

Delete this folder once: Config

This is located here: C:\Users\PC_NAME\AppData\Local\KeepUpSurvival\Saved\Config

This action will remove and regenerate all settings and entries of the game.

Additionally, we recommend clearing the Steam cache and performing a repair on the game.

Updates, optimizations, and languages

The introductory map has been revamped. Now you can test additional basic functions. Please note that not all functions are available in the introductory map.

Minor visual changes have been made to the power cable.

XP for leveling has been fixed; you now earn points through gameplay to level up. Keep in mind that leveling is currently only visual and serves no specific purpose.

An error in the construction process has been fixed, which caused double costs and placement of the same object.

A sound bug on the Buggy has been fixed. The horn was triggered without apparent reason.

A Store Box has been added to the Buggy. If the Store Box is not displayed, even though you already own a Buggy, you must reset the Buggy and acquire it again. Please only do this if you are familiar with the process, as everyone is responsible for their own actions.

You need to delete this file once: SAVEGAME_Vehicle.sav

It is located here: C:\Users\PC_NAME\AppData\Local\KeepUpSurvival\Saved\SaveGames

The Farming HUD is now displayed again. In the last update, the connection to this HUD was accidentally severed.

The character is now displayed in the Buggy. This was not the case before and has now been fixed.

An error in the explosion of Explosive Gas Canisters has been fixed. A bug causing a faulty representation of the explosion has been fixed.

Optimizations have been made, including minor improvements. However, there is still an issue caused by the character that significantly reduces your framerate. This does not hinder your gameplay experience.

The sound bug of the Fire Bin has been fixed.

The weapons have been overhauled.

The left hand is now firmly attached to the weapons.
Some unnecessary weapons have been removed from the game.
All projectiles have been reworked, and accuracy has been improved.

Electrical Update

Dear KeepUp Survival Community,

I am excited to present to you today the update for crafting electrical components.

IMPORTANT: Before we dive in, there are some crucial points to note that may need implementation by certain users to avoid issues.

The use of heat lamps or UV lamps has been modified. It may be necessary for you to pick up and reposition these lamps once, after which you can connect them to the electrical system.

Components with solar roofs will be adjusted in an upcoming update. Currently, you can still use them without connecting to the electrical grid.

You have the option to harness solar, wind power, and a generator to generate electricity. Switching on and off, combining power, and distributing power are all possible.

You need a workbench to utilize all components. In the crafting menu, you will find an additional button for crafting.
