Bug fixes and New Functions!

Dear KeepUp Survival Community,

Today, a new update has been released that addresses various issues and advances the optimization of the game.

Fixes Problems:
On the Lost Island Map, players were having difficulty seeing the ground. This problem was caused by a bug at low graphics settings.

I am pleased to inform you that this issue has been resolved and should no longer pose any inconvenience.

Furthermore, adjustments have been made to weapon animations. For some reason, certain weapons were displayed incorrectly, and this has now been fixed. I am continuously working on further improvements to enhance your gaming experience.

New Added:
In response to numerous user requests, I have added a body flashlight. To use it, you need to have at least one flashlight in your inventory. Simply toggle the flashlight on and off with the standard [G] key.

Representation problem in the landscape

Hello dear community,

I've noticed that some of you are having issues with the terrain displaying correctly. I am actively working on fixing this problem as soon as possible. At the same time, I am also addressing the issue with the weapon animations.

To temporarily solve the problem in the landscape, I recommend setting the global illumination setting to "High". Thank you for your patience while I work on a comprehensive solution to these issues.

Bug Fixes!

Current Issues:
Unfortunately, the issue on Lost Island that significantly affects performance persists. Another issue affects users playing on very low graphics settings. In these settings, Global Illumination should be set to "High," as otherwise, the ground on the Lost Island map will not be displayed correctly.

Resolved Issues:
There was an issue during the construction of buildings involving a wall (Wooden Wall Frame) that prevented the attachment of a roof. This problem has now been resolved.

Additionally, missing textures, particularly on containers in Tropical Island, have been corrected.

A bug that caused AI to appear even when the character was not nearby, resulting in significant framerate drops, has been fixed.

The farming system has undergone a slight adjustment to ensure that plants do not decay too quickly in the absence of water or fertilizer. It is important to note that plants should not be in the shade, as this can hinder proper growth and lead to their demise.

Furthermore, other minor issues have been addressed. Some users may have received the update twice. This occurred due to a small error, and another update has been provided to rectify this issue.

KeepUp Survival: Bug Fixes!

A interim update has been released, addressing the following issues:

Planting beds can now be placed correctly, and the first-person camera after exiting a vehicle has been fixed.

The blockage caused by placing the UV roof has been resolved, allowing for the placement of water sprinklers and the planting of crops.

A minor issue triggered upon dismounting from the horse has also been rectified.

KeepUp Survival: Blossoming Changes!

Dear KeepUp Survival Community,

I am excited to announce the exciting developments in KeepUp Survival! After intense work and based on your valuable feedback, I present the latest update. The update is substantial at 15 GB, but this is due to the reconfiguration of the engine.

IMPORTANT: Before diving in, there are some crucial points to note that some users may need to address to avoid issues.

Error Message: If an error message appears when starting the game, please check the freshness of your graphics driver. It is also possible that your system is outdated, as the game now relies on DX12, and older PCs may encounter issues. To play nonetheless, enter the following launch command in Steam: -DX11

Key Bindings: The issue with saving key bindings has been successfully resolved. However, some users may need to follow a specific step; otherwise, the game might not save key bindings correctly due to changes made. To fix this, please delete the specified folder, for example, by removing the file:

Note: Make changes only if you know exactly what you are doing! Each user is responsible for their actions.

C:\Users\PCNAME\AppData\Local\KeepUpSurvival\Saved\

Deleting this folder will allow the game to regenerate files upon startup, and saving key bindings will then work as usual. This instruction applies exclusively to users who have owned the game for an extended period!

Farming System: Preparations went mostly smoothly, but not all possible plants have been integrated yet. Currently usable plants are listed below: Potato, Tomato, Corn, Carrot, Watermelon, Cucumber and Pumpkin.

What to Expect in the Update:

Revised Farming System: The farming system has been adjusted to the day-night cycle, influencing your crop yields.

You can now craft the following items: UV light, heat lamp, small and large sprinklers. Manual water addition is done using untreated water! Additionally, you can now use fertilizer to increase yields.

Further improvements and adjustments will occur in the course of development!

Greenhouses and Their Functions: Existing components allow you to build greenhouses that provide UV light and warmth to your plants even at night.

Game Interface Improvements:
Minor issues in the HUD have been fixed, and the character preview has been improved for better clarity.

Save Key Bindings:
Now you can save your individual key bindings. I recommend performing a key binding reset to ensure everything works smoothly.

If the reset still leaves the keys empty, follow the instructions above.

Note: Currently, there may be cases where a reset leaves the keys empty. A solution to this problem is actively being worked on.

Animal Functions (AI) Overhauled:
To enhance performance and improve gameplay flow, the AI has been reworked. The AI now reacts to how far you are. When you reach a certain radius, the AI is deactivated. If you exceed another radius, the AI is automatically removed from the game.

When you hunt an animal, it remains until you've harvested everything. However, if you move away, a timer is triggered. This timer ensures that the animal is removed from the game if you do not return.

General Improvements: I have also fixed other minor issues in the game to optimize the overall gaming experience.

Work has been done to improve frame rates. Currently, there is a known issue on the Lost Island Map in the starting area at the farm, affecting frame rates significantly. Efforts are actively underway to address this problem. If you notice anything in this regard causing frame rate drops, please let me know.

Improvements and issue resolutions have also been made on Red Desert and Tropical Island.
