We hope everyone had a fantastic time during the free weekend of Dysterra! It's been a true joy to welcome so many new players to the game, and we're grateful for their contributions in the forums. With their fresh perspectives and insightful feedback, we're able to continue improving the game and deliver an even better gaming experience. As developers, our goal is to provide the best gaming experience possible in Dysterra. We’re continuously gathering feedback, analyzing gameplay data, and experimenting with new features and improvements. We’re dedicated to fixing bugs, balancing gameplay, and adding new content.

We appreciate your patience and your feedback as we work to make Dysterra better. Although some technical issues may take longer to resolve, please let us know if an issue is taking too long. Your feedback is a large part of our development process, and player feedback feedback lets us know what we’re doing right(or wrong).

With that said, this week’s patch is mostly aimed at fixing some common issues addressing drop rates.



[h2]📒 More Mutant Mushrooms[/h2]
Exciting news regarding radiation shots!
We're adding nearly 100 new mutant mushroom spawning locations to help players craft more radiation shots when they need them. Raiding Orbis bases should be much easier now.


[h2]📒 Changes to Item Drop Rates[/h2]
We're constantly adding new and exciting items to the game to keep things fresh and interesting for our players. But the influx of new items in our Season 2 update comes with the need to maintain balance in our drop tables. In order to ensure players can consistently obtain the items they're seeking when farming, we're taking the necessary steps to rebalance several of our container drop tables.

We understand that obtaining specific items can be an important part of the gaming experience, and we want to make sure that players are able to do so in a fair and consistent manner. By rebalancing the drop tables, we aim to strike a balance between excitement and accessibility, providing players with a more enjoyable and rewarding experience overall.



[h2]📒 Stronger Lv.1 Batteries[/h2]
Batteries are now harder to craft with the added requirement of Lithium, meaning they are harder to get when you need them. To compensate for this, we’ve decided to enhance the power of Lv.1 batteries, increasing their energy points from 20 to 25.


[h2]📒 Optimizations[/h2]
In response to single-player feedback, we're making adjustments to the number of resource nodes in single-player mode to better suit the solo experience. This update aims to provide a more optimized and enjoyable experience for players who prefer to journey through the game without other players attacking them.


[h2]📒 AI Optimization[/h2]
To enhance overall gameplay, we’ve made some improvements to AI pathfinding. These updates ensure that AI characters can navigate the game world more effectively and efficiently, allowing them to reach their desired destinations with greater accuracy.


[h2]📒 Bug Fixes[/h2]
◾ The recycler was spitting out the wrong items for a couple of materials. We’ve fixed it.

◾ We’ve patched up the Bunker to make sure people don’t get stuck in places they shouldn’t.

◾ A few facilities had an issue where the final boss wasn’t spawning. We had a chat with the NPCs, and they’ll be showing up for work from now on.

◾ A couple players weren’t able to rejoin their teams after leaving them. You should be able to play in full teams of 4 with no issue now.

◾ There was an issue with building restrictions for bases with multiple users where players would suddenly not be able to interact with a part of their base. That issue should now be a thing of the past.

Some of the known issues have been resolved and improved through the last update on February 3rd 
and new issues to be resolved in the next update have been added.

Known issue notifications are to disclose the thoughts of the Dev team regarding errors that occur 
while installing or playing the game, in-game bugs, or status(progress). 
They will be announced as often as possible according to the progress of reports from players.

✅ Equipment skins being locked ever after players received them
✅ Being unable to use protocols in the Underground area
✅ “*” sign displaying when entering a single-byte number in custom server names
✅ Triangle ceiling/floor dismantling when dismantling other building parts

        we are thinking about adding a skill reset method. For instance, 
        you would have to reset your skills by acquiring certain items through crafting or Facility raids.

🧪 Fixed an issue where the hotkey worked when using the search function on a workbench, etc.

🧪 Changing existing settings for Single Player mode

2) Adjusted Base Protection System
    - Flexible cooldown
        * The cooldown will be relfect the base protection time
            └ if the 12 hrs protection is used from maximum 24 hours, then the time is used for 50%. 
              Therefore, the 50% will be applied to the maximum cooldown time of 6 hours.
              This makes 3 hours of cooldown time for the Base protection system.
        * If the protection system turns off during buffer time, 
          2 hours of cooldown will be applied.

3) Maximum base enhance rank and building recipe improvements
    - Now all the building parts could be enhanced until Lv.4
    - New material "Bolt" will be required to build or to enahnce the building parts.

    - The Survivor could add maximum 3 indicators in the map display
        * Tutorial: Yellow
        * Daily: Blue
        * Custom indicator: White
    - Survivor could save maximum 10 custom indicator in the custom indicator list.
    
4) The Danger zone is adjusted by event update.
5) The Lobby will display server information when clicking official server in lobby.

1) Fixed issue that the Ranking users name is not displayed after escape.
2) Fixed issue the sheild is not showing when using the shield protocol
3) Fixed issue that the custom world's server life span is not being displayed
4) Fixed issue that all the sount setting values goes to 0 except the master volume

1) Hemostatic shot and Fracture shot are showing at the daily crafting mission objective.
The above issue will be fixed at next maintenance.
