Crafting, Housing update, and Frontier test

Here’s our updates on crafting and housing
[Crafting update]
Few changes mentioned below will be updated for better surviving and battle during the early part of the game.
1. Gun craft difficulty adjusted and pistol ammo added.
Difficulty adjustment on overall looting, survivors can now craft 1st and 2nd tier weapons in a shorter period of time.
Moreover, survivors can craft 3rd tier weapons on the field without a workbench that can only be installed in basecamp. However, please note that there will be disadvantages on durability and resource consumption on 2nd and 3rd tier weapons crafted on the field.

Also, pistol ammo can be crafted with low cost which can lead to usage of Agons without any pressure of using many resources.
2. New item: sleeping bag
When a character dies, the sleeping bag works as a respawning point. Unlike bed, it can easily be installed without building a basecamp.

However, it does have a longer cooldown duration compared to the bed. When respawned, cooldown duration will be activated on the sleeping bag itself and any bed located nearby.
[Housing update]
For more convenient basecamp management, crafting mode and production settings are partially changed.
1. Housing parts diversification
Crafting mode(F2) Housing ring UI will be categorised by same or similar housing parts

Also with our new pillar parts on housing, survivors can build various types of basecamp with special exterior.
2. Workbench integration
To simplify production and management settings, Plasma workbench now takes care of both weapons and armors. With this change, survivors can now manage their bases with more efficiency.
[Frontier test]
Our update mentioned above, and many other unrevealed updates will be opened to survivors through our frontier test that will take place next week.

More detailed schedules and guides will be shared through our Discord and Steam community starting from next week.

Vision and map updates for better in-game play experience

We are glad to present you with the new system improvements particularly on map and vision.
You will be able to witness the following updates in our next test.
Looting improvement – item awareness
We are hopefully expecting that new players in our game can also find and loot resources easily with our vision improvement.
Check below images to see how it looks.
Change in map formation – Relocated early/mid/end regions
We have reorganised areas for better balance. Our prior world was divided into 3 parts: Southwest, Southeast and Northeast. On our new map, shorelines have become much easier, and difficulty elevates as survivors go deeper and closer to the center of the map.

When the update gets completed, it will be a lot easier for new players to adapt and settle in Tier 1 area, and experienced players can loot and compete over better resources and items in regions with higher tiers.

The new world we all have been waiting for is just around the corner.
We are so hyped, we will be back with more details about the update very soon.

New weapon ‘Maverick’ updated!

We would like to present a new weapon that is planned to be added in our next test. Maverick has a rapid fire rate and stable recoil.
Ultimate form of SMG ‘Maverick’
- Name: Maverick
- Classification: SMG
- Rank: 3rd Tier
- Type: Energy Ammo

SMG Maverick uses Energy Ammo, and is an upper version of Spitter that uses light ammo.

Only hi-cap magazine can be equipped in Maverick. It is relatively easy to use due to stable recoil and fast fire rate.

Maverick does require more resources to craft compared to Spitter. However, when two guns are compared thoroughly, Maverick definitely shows better power and speed compared to Spitter with vertical grips and other attachables.

※ In-game images may be subject to change.

More details of Maverick including usage and spec will be guided additionally prior to our upcoming test. So stay tuned!
