Server Maintenance πŸ“’

The official servers are experiencing connection issues.

We're currently investigating the case and want to fix it as soon as possible.

We apologize for the disruption in gameplay.

Patch Notes: v0.6.20

Hello, Survivors!
We've seen a lot of feedback on Steam and Discord regarding the Shelter Raid event, so we've made some adjustments in this patch. Now, once you clear a Shelter Raid, it will take longer before it occurs again.
With this patch, we hope you'll feel less tied down to a single area while preparing for Shelter Raids and be able to explore Ararat Island with a lighter heart.
If you have more ideas to improve the game, please let us know on our Discord server!

🏠 You can now view and directly connect to custom servers from the Steam launcher without launching the game. Go to View -> Game Servers in the Steam menu.
Due to this new feature, all custom servers must be updated to the new version.

Patch Notes: v0.6.19

It's been a while since we've greeted you all, and the development team would like to share some updates on the current development direction of Dysterra, along with a small balance patch.

We are planning to reintroduce some of the survival elements that were intentionally reduced in gameplay. We believe that certain systems, which were removed due to causing inconvenience in areas like difficulty, PvP, and NPC battles, should be revived. Specifically, we are reorganizing the temperature system. We are testing several systems, including bringing back the weather system from the previous open beta test and introducing temperature variations.
Regarding this week's balance patch, we have made several stat improvements to the gliding skill, which has been rarely used, to make it more enjoyable and useful. Additionally, we felt that some adjustments were necessary for the grenades, which were enhanced in the last patch. Therefore, we have made some downward adjustments to a few values, ensuring we do not undermine the original intent of the design.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback!

We’ve added new gimmicks to grenades and smoke bombs. Additionally, all NPCs, except a few, will now take 3 times more damage from grenades. If you have ideas to improve the game further, please let us know on our Discord server!

- Materials required:
  • 2 Advanced Metals
  • 2 Explosives

New Throwable: Radioactive Smoke Grenade Added

☠️ A new smoke grenade that emits deadly radioactive smoke has been added.
- Radiation Level: 40
- In PvP, use radiation-resistant armor to protect yourself!
- Stacks up to 40 grenades per inventory cell.
- It is lethal to Hyena soldiers and wildlife.
- It deals a small amount of damage upon contact with the smoke and continuously decreases the NPC's health for 200 seconds.
- It can be crafted at Workbench Level 2 or higher.
- Materials required:
  • 2 Advanced Metals
  • 5 Anti-Radiation Capsules
  • 2 Explosives

Balance Change: Grenade Damage to NPCs Increased by 3 Times
