Hi everyone! ❄️

Apparently we are in for another very hot summer so today, we'd like to take you on a trip to one of the coolest places the world of fantasy myths has ever seen - the chilly and refreshing Winter Resort!

Harmony's Odyssey features a variety of biomes and dioramas and Winter Resort is packed with things to do, being one of the favorite destinations of our mythical creatures. From ice skating on a frozen lake to snowfights, this cool biome has a lot to offer, let's take a closer look!

[h3]Who runs this place?[/h3]

Winter Resort and all the entertainment opportunities it offers is run by the great Odin - snow fights and ice cream connoisseur. He is a bit shy but we caught him trying to hide a bit behind his beloved strawberry-pistachio mix:

Odin overlooks the Winter Resort and enjoys when its visitors are having good time, conquering winter opportunities and solving refreshing puzzles!




[h3]Winter activities[/h3]

Winter Resort is an intricate and rich diorama that requires players to be very observant. Some of the hints are hidden in each tile's details but once solved, they offer quite the treats that include:



Penguins love ice skating! While solving this section of the diorama, you'll need to help these guys by swapping tiles, creating the frozen water basin:



Another example of a time well spent during the winter holidays is - of course - skiing! Whether you're in for a casual ride of a sports rivalry, this traditional discipline is our imp's favorite!



They look super cute in these sunglasses but also need your assistance - solve the tiles to build the snowy slope so the imps can enjoy a bit of winter recreation:




These are just some of the cool treats the refreshing Winter Resort has to offer so stay tuned for more reveals coming shortly! This biome will be featured in dioramas, mini games and lots of other treasures that just await to be discovered in Harmony's Odyssey!

[h3]New demo[/h3]

First of all, we are showcasing an updated demo of our wholesome adventure puzzler with the most complete build ever in terms of playable content, with lots of content additions, quality-of-life updates and smaller fixes.

[h3]Livestreams during Steam Next Fest[/h3]

A Steam Next Fest wouldn't be the same without livestreams! We are happy to walk you through some of the most important recent updates on development, with the first stream starting June 13th 14:00 PT/ 11:00 PM CET. Second stream is planned for June 18th and we will let you know about the timing in the next announcement.

We are back with another update and this time we are focusing on both - the events and game development and how we are doing with bringing the most wholesome and cute adventure puzzle game out there! 😍

[h3]Game Development update[/h3]

We are right on track to embark on an epic odyssey with Harmony in Q3 this year. We are continually working on new biomes, levels, creatures and all the mighty features you have the opportunity to try in our newest, recently updated demo.

We gathered loads of feedback in recenty months during both online and live events, such as PAX in Boston and it was a great experience to see what players liked the most and also, stuff they skipped more often.

❤️ Stuff you LOVED:

- Solving main dioramas:
Whether they're facades or isometric - we were greatly reassured to learn that the main part of the gameplay is also the part you enjoyed the most! We are improving your experience with these, adding more levels, interactivity and more complex isometric dioramas (6x6 and 8x8 squares) as during PAX we observed a great intested in particularly the hardest levels

- Detective Mummy mini games:
Spotting differences and finding hidden objects is fun! These mini games really bring family members together and the hardest difficulty settings seem close to the sweet spot! We continue to work on hidden/paired elements and promise to enhance your experience even more!

- Visual presentation:
We are being reminded that you love the presentation almost daily and it works as a great motivation for our team to simply focus on bringing you more content (levels, creatues, biomes, mini games etc).

💬 Stuff you want to see improved:

- Mini games balancing:
Some mini games, like the challenging Dragonmice Dungeons or Cats Delivery Service represent action-like genres and we understand that level design, timers and other elements require additional tweaks and upgrades. We continue to work on offering the best possible experience to both newcomers and puzzle veterans (who also remember PacMan era 😉 )

- Controls and tutorials:
Some of the controls right now are not that intuitive for certain players and some of the tutorials - not that easy to understand at the first glance and we are working on a 'directed tutorial' where we simply go through all features, requiring players to complete them at the very start.


[h3]June Events[/h3]

As promised, we are preparing for a series streams and important game reveals in June and July with the first one being the great Dreamhack Beyond!

As mentioned, as teased, as promised! A new, fresh-out-the-oven demo version of Harmony's Odyssey is now live on Steam, packing new content, levels, animations and most importantly, the Co-Op and Versus game modes that are the main dish of today's The MIX 10th Anniversary Showcase!

• full support for versus and cooperative modes in minigames like Spot Objects, Find the Differences etc.
  
• independent or synchronized split screen for various 2-player local minigames
