Do I have to buy the game to join the playtests?

What will I be testing?
There will be a brand new map to test - Cafe on the Moon - in the Sandbox mode. It has never been available yet. This is the first of the major updates indicated in our roadmap.

How long will the playtest last?
The playtests will be open to play for one week.

How can I get access to the playtests?
It's effortless. You just need to go to our store page and click the 'Request access' button. It couldn't be easier!

I don't see a 'Request Access' button. I can press 'Play Now' instead. How can I join the playtest?
That means that you have taken part in our playtests previously and wish to participate again. We are thrilled to have you back! ːsteamhappyː You have already been provided access to playtests; however, the current build is not yet active. All features are currently locked within it. Like this:


Once the enrollment process is completed and the playtests are launched, you will be able to take part. There's no need to wait for access approval since you are already one of our valued playtesters ːsteamhappyː

When will I be notified about the start of the playtests?
Once the registration is closed, you will see the option 'Launch Playtests' in the same place where you're requesting access now. We will announce it officially, too. We can say that you will be able to play... this month!

How long will the playtest last?

• Café on the Moon - we gave you a choice between the Moon and Mars - we can see that most of you decided on the Moon 🌕
  
• Manager - who will take care of Supplies - and allow you to automate the process of ordering and collecting them 📋
  
• Import 3D Models - exchange via Steam Workshop ✅
  
• 2 Coffee Machines - which will allow even faster coffee-making and customer service ☕️
  
• Alternative Campaigns in the same locations - that is, new missions with new challenges in places you already know very well 🌎

We are not giving specific dates because we need to be sure that each of these new features is done well and will not generate bugs. That takes time and a lot of testing. We'll let you know as soon as we're ready!

[h3]I voted for several other features, but they are not on the list. Does that mean they won't appear at all?

We're presenting on the roadmap the features that were most frequently requested by our players. We still have a few things more in our plan (as you can see our game is regularly updated) and we will inform you about them, for sure! These ones are the most significant changes that are going to be added in the near future.

[h3]I've tested your latest updates. Will there be such a possibility here as well?

Of course! We appreciate very much that you help us create our game and assist us with testing. We will certainly organize tests of new features as soon as we are ready.

[h3]Will these new features be for free?[/h3]
Yes, all those features we list here will be added free of charge to the basic version of Espresso Tycoon.

But before we explain what's actually in this update, here's a brief instruction.

Sometimes you can have a problem with launching the game (or some parts of it) after the update. This issue could be related to Steam and not the game itself. If you encounter a problem like that, please check your local files here:



Sometimes Steam can have issues with updates, and this is a simple solution. :)

Here's what we've prepared!

• added: new ingredients to the Coffee Editor - Decaf Coffee, Filtered Coffee, and... Olive Oil ːsteamhappyː
  
• added: the possibility to delete the save files
  
• changed: the filter "On the Menu" in the Supplies window to "In Use"- so you will be able to quickly sort not only the ingredients that you're using but also the Cleaning Supplies
  
• made: some improvements in the Chinese translations
  
• made: some improvements in the Korean translations
  
• fixed: the problem with changing the name of the save files
  
• fixed: the problem with Finances not working well after a week (in-game time)
  
• fixed: some other minor bugs
