As you know, we are collecting your feedback and preparing the next update for our game. We want to make sure that it is well-prepared and will not introduce new bugs.

You helped us a lot with the previous update so - let's do that again!

[h3]Test the upcoming update with us! ːsteamhappyː [/h3]

We have introduced new improvements that you can already test on a separate branch on Steam. You must have purchased the game first in order to switch to the testing branch ːsteamhappyː

Let us remind you how you can do that.

To access the branch on Steam, follow these steps:
1. Open the Properties of Espresso Tycoon in your Steam Library.


2. Enter your password there. You can see it on the screenshot (if you already typed the password there in the previous beta tests, just switch the branch).


3. Choose the proper branch


And that's it!

Now it's time for the list of our improvements:

• we added TEA (a few kinds of tea, to be more specific) as new ingredients in the Coffee Editor - there were a lot of requests about adding them to the game ːsteamhappyː
  
• we added the option to click on the rubbish counter, which will move the camera to random rubbish, making it easy to track it down
  
• we fixed the problem with the disabled game save button after staying in an already-completed mission
  
• we fixed a problem in the London mission where it was impossible to hire security if one did not follow the tutorial correctly
  
• we fixed the issue where people stopped coming to the cafe when someone acted out of line with the tutorial
  
• we fixed the problem of 'hidden rubbish' that could sometimes hide in certain furniture
  
• we added the ability to set the probability of animals in Sandbox mode in every location
  
• we improved the drawing of values in Temporal Trends in the Coffee Editor so that requirements that can't be met don't appear
  
• we added the ability to search for ingredients in the Supplies window by group, not just specific ingredients. For example, you can now type 'Mint Syrup' (or any other ingredient) to see the entire group of supplies
  
• we fixed a problem with the outline
  
• we resolved a minor bug related to the music after completing a mission
  
• we made some improvements in the Korean, German, and Japanese languages (work on improvements with Chinese is still ongoing ːsteamhappyː)
  
• we fixed a problem with employee photos in the Employees window that didn't always refresh correctly
  
• we implemented various other minor bug fixes. ːsteamhappyː

We're a bit stunned by how positively you've reviewed our game; it really means a lot to us! As promised, we're serving up another update!

But before we explain what's actually in this update, here's a brief instruction.

Some of you reported that there might be a problem starting the mission after the update. This issue could be related to Steam and not the game itself. If you encounter a problem like that, please check your local files here:



Sometimes Steam can have issues with updates, and this is a simple solution. :)

[h3]And now, let's get back to our update...[/h3]

Here's what we've done:

• automating the payment of electricity and internet bills - now the Handyman can take care of it (you have to hire them first ːsteamhappyː )
  
• less annoying thief - we have changed the frequency of the thief and he will not always steal the most expensive items now
  
• we corrected the calculation of the coffee speed percentage
  
• we fixed the problem related to the goal in the mission in Paris (regarding making coffee with toppings) - now, the use of any toppings will complete the task
  
• we have fixed the carpets that were not allowing customers to stand on them (and sometimes blocked the entrance to the coffee shop)
  
• the cash register sound is more pleasant
  
• we have made some corrections to the Japanese, French, and Korean translations
  
• we have improved the counting of supplies and supply priority (previously it was possible that you could have all the right ingredients, and it still showed that you could not prepare coffee)
  
• we also improved the way of hanging paintings (in some places it was difficult to hang them)
  
• we corrected the fact that Hot Chocolate was appearing in the Supplies window in two different places
  
• customers in Cape Town (Sandbox) will no longer give negative reviews for lack of AC and lack of plants
  
• we improved research in Sandbox (no longer will search for items such as "No Fruits" in the Coffee Editor
  
• we fixed customer avoidance of certain deco items
  
• we fixed the fact that the allow animals button did not load right after loading a previously saved game
  
• we improved placing on long conveyor tables
  
• we fixed the texture on the vintage lamp
  
• we fixed the British Sofa (you couldn't put it in some places)
  
• we fixed an issue where you could not pick supply box in the park if it landed in the river
  
• and some other minor bug fixes ːsteamhappyː
