Following a period of intense development to upgrade Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle, Season One with the help of crowdfunds supplied by our community, we are happy to announce:



This newer version of the game will feature a wide range of improvements, which include...

[h2]Character busts for Anya Miller & Judge Tawny[/h2]



Thanks to our community, we were able to commission additional bust artwork for the characters of Anya Miller (in 3 outfits) and Judge Tawny. These were supplied by a new artist, Sincryart, who came highly recommended by @Koahri1, the artist behind our Nina & Hawke bust images.

[h2]Linux & Steam Deck support[/h2]



The game now supports Linux & Steam Deck, via a native Linux binary (not via Proton or similar abstraction layer). As well as opening up NALE to Linux users, we've also already had the game running on a Steam Deck early devkit and the performance is looking great.

[h2]Name Cards for dialogue[/h2]



At the request of many fans, we've now added namecards to in-game dialogue. These appear similar to the example above, for all "major" characters. Each one will only appear once the player reaches a point in the game where Nina is aware of the character's name.

[h2]Nina's major OBJECTION pose is now animated![/h2]



As in the example above, when players perform a major OBJECTION in court, Nina's image will now be animated, courtesy of @KJOEE88 over on Twitter!

[h2]Significant performance enhancements & small fixes[/h2]

NALE has been upgraded to use a much newer version of the nwjs framework, which means the game will perform significantly better on lower-spec machines, and should drop fewer frames on higher spec machines.

Also, thanks to our community, we were able to stamp out a bunch of smaller bugs & typos.
