In this update we have gathered feedback and issues since the games launch and fixed as many of them as possible! Most notable fixes are for multiplayer where joining to rooms with password or room ID didn’t work properly. There is a lot to go through so read all changes and fixes below. Happy hunting!

• Added synchronization to several hand poses
  
• Added an error message if the player is blacklisted by host
  
• Added an error message if the player is banned by host
  
• Added an error message if the room is full
  
• Added an error message if the room can’t be found
  

• Lowered the radio tower and a hunting tower so they won’t hover
  
• Added shooting range and 3D archery range signs to the trophy lodge
  
• Added a map of the 3D archery range by the path leading to it
  

• Improved pheasant hiding behavior
  

• Added safe checks to the saving process
  
• Removed inventory lock from the waist inventory and moved it to the in-game menu under volume sliders
  
• Removed inventory lock step from the tutorial
  

• Fixed an issue where players couldn’t join multiplayer game with password or with direct connect (room ID)
  
• Fixed an issue where “Ok”-button was missing if room ID was incorrect, forcing a restart to continue
  
• Fixed an issue where the game get stuck on loading screen if connection was lost during multiplayer
  
• Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in a loop falling through the terrain
  
• Fixed an issue where wrong ground audio could play after fast travel
  
• Fixed an issue where tutorial completion status was reset, preventing players to use quick hunt (Fix applies when loading an existing save first time)
  
• Fixed an issue where metal ground audio would play when player came back down from the radio tower
  
• Fixed other terrain based issues like floating tracks and wrong ground audios
  
• Fixed an issue where money view could stay on the mobile tracker, if player fast traveled when in a store
  
• Fixed an issue when the sun had dark circle around it
  
• Fixed an issue where European hare’s hiding mechanic didn’t work properly, preventing them from hiding in bushes
  
• Fixed an issue where a dead wild boar could kill a player
  
• Fixed an issue where Roe deer was almost blind but they can see once again

It’s been a couple of months since we released Virtual Hunter out of early access and today I thought I’d tell you a bit about what we are up to!

For a long time we’ve had people asking, requesting (even demanding!) to get the game on other platforms than PCVR. We’ve said before that we will look into it after full release. It would have been impossible to work on such a massive game on several platforms with our small team. But now this is something we can look into. Which platforms we aim is something to be determined but we will keep you up to date when we have more news. We want as many players as possible to experience the thrill of a hunt in VR so this is exciting.

We are excited to announce that Virtual Hunter is leaving early access on January 15th!

After three years of hard work by a small team to push the boundaries of open world VR games, Virtual Hunter is now feature complete. The game had very humble beginning with a small map and just two animals to hunt. Today players can immerse themselves in one of the largest open worlds in all of VR with seven species, multiplayer, realistic weapon handling, unique trophy mounting system and so much more.

The game was been shaped by involving the passionate community in the development. All of the support, feedback and input have been invaluable and without them, the game would not be what it is today. We are grateful for everyone and it's been a pleasure to form such an amazing community around the game.
