Knightly Passions Version 1.6 — Release!

Dear friends,

We’re pleased to present you with a new update of Knightly Passions — Version 1.6. This update was essential to fulfilling the many wishes and requests our players have shared since the game’s Steam release. Also, Version 1.60 is the final step towards beginning to translate the game into additional languages. We know how many of you have been waiting for greater language support. Patience, friends! More languages will be coming soon!

What awaits you in this update? Here’s the full list of all the changes and additions to the game:
  • Added “New Game+” mode. This will be unlocked after completing the game for the first time. In this mode, you can choose to skip whichever quests you wish when you start a new game (especially useful for people trying to collect all the game’s achievements or replay specific quests without a convenient save).
  • Added BONUS SCENES to the gallery (five old 18+ scenes). Please note: This is not new content. We’ve decided to show you scenes that were originally intended to be part of the game, but were later replaced by remade Live2D versions. You can compare the old versions to the new ones to see how much the animation quality has improved. One of the scenes was completely cut out; it will be new to many players.
  • All major characters now have names. The following characters received names: the tavern keeper, the witch, the blonde nun, the vampiress, and the arms trader.
  • The comic-style segment with the elf’s “tail” has returned, and we’ve improved the text in the elf’s 18+ scene. The comic-style segment was cut in the past due to plot changes.
  • Partially fixed the combat bug involving enemy attack animations. If you’ve encountered animation problems in combat, you can enable/disable attack animations by clicking on the action point bubble in the combat screen.
  • Added the ability to sort inventory items. Simply click on the “Sort” button in your inventory screen and your items will be put in order.
  • Traders’ stocks now refresh daily. Previously, items sold to traders appeared as available to be bought back long after you’d sold them. Now, you can only buy back items you sold earlier the same day. The entire stock will refresh at the end of the day and any items you’ve sold to a trader will disappear.
  • Improved dialogues with the elf inside the player’s house.
  • Fixed a bug with the achievement for opening all 18+ scenes in the gallery.
  • Fixed a bug with the scale of flying serpents in combat.
  • Improved the text in the 18+ scene in the field with Mirina (and removed the “to be continued” text).
  • Fixed a bug with Quest 22 still appearing in the journal after it had been completed.
  • Fixed minor trading bugs.
  • Fixed many other bugs and probably added new ones.
  • And much more.
Friends, thank you so very much for your support! Thank you to everyone who not only helps the project financially, but also shares their ideas and thoughts about the gameplay. Your feedback in comments, private messages, and emails is genuinely invaluable!

Thank you for your tremendous support, your faith in our team, and of course, your LOVE for the game! It’s thanks to you that we’re able to keep marching forward! A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you!

Sincerely,
Team FEYADA

Working Tirelessly!

Friends, we’d like to share the latest news about the projects we’re currently working on.

First, let’s talk about the vampire project. This game is a really cool experiment that we’ve begun implementing in the Unity engine. Admittedly, the transition from Ren’Py to Unity hasn’t been easy for our programmers, but the extra trouble has been well worth it. Animations work better in Unity than in Ren’Py, which has been a big leap forward for us. But animations alone aren’t enough, so we’re trying to come up with interesting mechanics and character interactions to keep players engaged and ensure that the game is truly a game, and not purely a visual novel. We can confidently say that the game will have many different endings and the release of the first version (0.1) is planned for the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2025. SOON, we’ll show you the game’s world map — it’s much larger than in Knightly Passions. And yes, we haven’t forgotten that this takes place in the same universe as Knightly Passions, so the LORE of KP will grow thanks to this project.

Now let’s talk about the bunker project. When we say “bunker,” many people immediately think of the Fallout universe (admittedly including some of us). We feel that while Fallout-inspired themes are very popular, they’ve been done to death at this point, so we decided to break the mold by making a game about a bunker that the main character enters owing to random happenstance rather than nuclear war, a bunker from which he wants to escape but cannot. The game is being created with a big emphasis on humor (which we’ll try not to overdo, since we know firsthand that endless gags and jokes get very tiresome). The game will also be a dating simulator. A dating sim in a sealed bunker? BUT HOW? You’ll see for yourself soon! The game is being developed in the Ren’Py engine, and the 1st version is also scheduled for release in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2025.

But what about Knightly Passions? This spring (autumn in the Southern Hemisphere), we’ll release a new update, Version 1.6, that will fully prepare the game to be translated into additional languages. We’ll be making some dialogue revisions and adding in bonus content (old 18+ scenes that were removed in later stages of development). Don’t forget to ask us for your Steam key if you’re a subscriber!

To wrap up the news, we’ll answer the most common question we’ve heard from players:

When will we see the next installment of Knightly Passions? Will there be a Knightly Passions 2?

Answer:

After we tell and show you the vampiress’s full backstory, we’ll start work on Knightly Passions 2 right away. The vampire game will answer many questions that’ve been asked about why we didn’t include more vampire content in Knightly Passions and will expand the LORE of the KP universe. It’s exactly what we need to prepare you for the larger, second installment of Knightly Passions.

Sincerely,

Team FEYADA
