Dear friends,

We’re thrilled to announce that over 50,000 copies of Knightly Passions have been sold on Steam! We want to express our ENORMOUS gratitude to all of you for your unbelievable support. Thank you, friends, for your faith in us and our project, the 91% positive Steam reviews, your kind words, and your comments. We will never tire of saying that you are the BEST!

Even though half a year has passed since the game was released on Steam, the player base remains active, people play the game every day, and the average time spent in the game is 10 hours. In the past six months, the dev team has received valuable feedback and numerous requests for a sequel. We are proud to announce that there WILL be a sequel; we ask for your patience until it’s ready to share with you.

Knightly Passions will continue to receive updates and will eventually be translated into additional languages. There are a few translation-related issues at the moment that we’re sorting out. Also, everyone who has already purchased or who plans to purchase Knightly Passions on Steam is in for a nice little bonus in a future update that we’ll talk more about later.

Additionally, we’re currently working on:

- A Christmas / New Year’s DLC, coming in December of this year;
A new game about the vampiress (a prequel to Knightly Passions). Version 0.1 isn’t expected to be ready until Q1 of 2025 at the earliest;
A new experimental project that we’ll tell you about in more detail a little later.

We just released a new update for the Between Life and Death DLC that added 6 achievements (one of which is missable).

If you’ve already completed the DLC and want to be awarded the achievements without playing through everything again, load your last save before the end of the DLC and play until you reach the credits. When the credits start rolling, the achievements should appear.

A new update for Knightly Passions, Version 1.25, has just been released on Steam. Here’s the full changelog:

• Fixed fishing, which broke in update 1.24.
  
• Fixed issues with the Bonus Pack on Linux.
  
• Made several minor cosmetic changes to the Queen of the Dead’s Live2D scene in the DLC.

We just implemented some changes to the Knightly Passions base game and the Between Life and Death DLC. Here’s the full changelog:

- Improved the catching of quest fish. Now, if you have both of the quests involving fishing active (meaning that you need to catch 2 different legendary fish, each in a different location), you’ll be able to catch both fish in their respective fishing areas without having to complete one of the quests first. Previously, if you had both quests active, you had to first complete one of the quests and turn in the associated legendary fish before you could catch the legendary fish for the other quest.
- Fixed an issue in the main questline of the base game where a side quest could prevent you from speaking to the witch to advance the main questline (because the side quest prevented her from being in her hut). The main questline is now prioritized over the side quest in that situation.
- Implemented new fixes for the gallery. All DLC scenes now unlock correctly.
- Nerfed some DLC enemies and buffed others. DLC enemies are now approximately at a medium difficulty level.
- Fixed some minor bugs and translation issues.

Also, it’s worth mentioning that today we added a discounted Platinum Edition bundle to Steam. Purchasing it will give you all of our Knightly Passions content on Steam:

- Knightly Passions (the base game)
- Knightly Passions: Between Life and Death (DLC)
- The Knightly Passions Soundtrack (an album comprised of the game’s 40 unique songs)
- The Knightly Passions Bonus Pack (a collection of pictures and sketches, as well as illustrations not included in the final version of the game)

We have just made changes to the "Between Life and Death" DLC. Here is a full list of all the changes:

- Fixed the unlocking of scenes in the gallery. Scenes will be available in the gallery immediately after viewing them in the main game. If you have already passed the game, but the scenes are not unlocked - no problem, you can use cheat codes, on opening the entire gallery in the main game.
- Added a new mini-game on the maze of the king of the dead. - Was made nerf lich (very strong he was on release).
- Fixed some bugs in minigames and combat system.
