v4.01.02 - Meeting Revamp Based on Community Feedback

[p][/p][h2]Hello everyone,[/h2][p]Over the past few days, we've seen extensive discussion about the latest meeting revamp. Your thoughtful feedback, passionate discussions, and creative suggestions haven't gone unnoticed. At Gaggle Studios, community input has always been the cornerstone of our development philosophy.[/p][h2]Immediate Changes[/h2][p]We're thrilled to announce that we've already implemented several changes based directly on your feedback:[/p]
  • [p]Reverted Player Position: Players now stand within their player banner, similar to how they were before the revamp.[/p]
  • [p]Corpse Found: Reduced the amount of caution tape placed on reported corpses. Corresponding with the Reporter's Megaphone.[/p]
  • [p]Default Player Banners: Players without banners are assigned a blank banner based on the theme of the map rather than based off the players colour.[/p]
  • [p]"Hide Vote Banners" Setting: Shows all players with default player banners.[/p]
  • [p]X Marks the Spot (less): X indicating dead players has been darkened and made smaller.[/p]
  • [p]No more ghosts: Reverted back to dead players being greyed out with a red X. This is to preserve outfits to help identify someone you may have encountered during the round.[/p]
  • [p]Voted... Check!: Repositioned and enhanced the checkmark indicating player has voted over the player banner for quickly identifying who voted and who hasn't.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Bug Fixes and Optimizations:[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed: Issues surrounding Jungle Temple and the calling of meetings.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Spy misidentifying Mimic as a Duck. If the Spy uses their ability on the Mimic, the Mimic will be identified as a Mimic in the next meeting to the Spy.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Serial Killer target arrow. Serial Killer's target arrow no longer disappear during a (Pelican/Falcon) hunt.[/p]

v4.01 - Meeting Revamp

[p][/p][h3]"We Need to Talk!", "Avian Corpse Reported!"[/h3][p]Whether you're reporting a corpse or just calling a meeting because you've missed seeing everyone's beak, meetings play a vital role in discovering who's good, who's bad, and who just wants to be voted out! Over the lifetime of Goose Goose Duck, more and more information has been added to the meeting screen, such as:[/p]
  • [p]Assassin: Taking out another avian (or themselves) during the meeting.[/p]
  • [p]Clown: Making players POP during the meeting.[/p]
  • [p]Party/Clown, Silencer, Fortune Teller: Displaying their mark(s) in the meeting.[/p]
  • [p]Various ability trackers such as the Lobbyist vote counter.[/p]
[p]To help track all this information, the meeting screen has been completely revamped to not only display all existing information in a more readable fashion but also prepare for any new features we may add in the future!

Meeting Screens Revamp
[h2]Chat Toggle[/h2][p]Tired of repeatedly opening and closing the text conversation? NO MORE! Now the chat button acts as a toggle between two different meeting layouts:[/p]
  • [p]Full View: Shows the complete meeting interface with player information.[/p]
  • [p]Chat View: Expands the chat window for those intense discussions.[/p]

    • [p]Updated megaphone icon to identify who called the meeting.[/p]
    • [p]Added clear icons indicating marked targets and effects (party, silenced, etc.).[/p]
    • [p]Dead players appear as ghosts.[/p]
    • [p]Reported corpse appears as a corpse in meeting.[/p]
      • [p]Any corpses that are created during the meeting also appear as corpses.[/p]

  • [p]Before: Navigation arrow pointed towards the task in a straight path (as the crow flies).[/p]

  • [p]Enhanced Room and Game Info: Game info panel now displays comprehensive room and game information.[/p]
  • [p]Complete Role Information: Roles section now allows you to read about all possible roles in a match.[/p]
  • [p]Quick Reference: Access information when you need it most. This includes copying the room code in-game![/p]

  • [p]Fixed - Godzilla Map: Adjusted controller support for the clear rubble task.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed - Map Changing: Resolved an issue that would cause players to be locked in the collections when changing maps.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed - Trick or Treat: Trick or treat properly ends at 0 seconds. Meetings would interfere with the countdown, causing it to continue running past 0 seconds.[/p]

v4.00.01 Hotpatch

Update 4.0 released a couple days ago, as expected some bugs and unintended features made an appearance. Want to take a quick moment to thank those that reported and helped identify some of those features. Quick reminder, if you continue to come across more bugs and unintended features, please report them using the in-game bug report section found in Settings panel or fill out an online ticket form. The team is continuously monitoring and implementing fixes based off priority.

Here are the quick notes for Update 4.00.01:
  • Resolved: Bell Sabotage now resets properly. Prior to this update, Sabotage would continue through rounds, preventing regular meetings from being called. While displaying incorrect countdown timer.
  • Resolved: Correct error message now displays when trying to join a game during the drafting phase. "Game is in progress or locked".
  • Resolved: Trick or Treat, players are now able to spectate properly.
  • Resolved: Dead players can no longer interact with the Skip button during meetings (not that it did anything).
  • Resolved: Find Game Menu, no longer filters out voice enabled lobbies by default.
  • Resolved: Ghosts are now visible to other ghosts. No longer floating nameplates.
  • Resolved: Back button now appears in Quickplay if tutorial is labelled as incomplete.
  • Resolved: Lines on the Help screen are now being translated.
