Blue Prince is OUT NOW!

At long last, we are delighted to be able to welcome you all to Mount Holly. After eight years of development, we are finally at the end of our journey and eager to hand over the keys so you can start your own. You will find this house a very curious place to explore; an architectural canvas of shifting rooms, dead-ends, and cryptic corridors. It is a genre-defying adventure in a labyrinth of ever-changing expectations; and while we cannot hint at the journey ahead, we hope you eventually will come to make your own path.

Blue Prince review

There are at least hundreds, probably thousands, and possibly tens of thousands of potential houses in first-person labyrinth puzzler Blue Prince. I am genuinely tempted to review them all, but I am not a realtor and Graham's kneecaps inflate when a review strays above 2000 words, so I'll settle for describing just four. The first is the house you discover. It waits eternally behind doors that give you a choice of three, semi-randomised rooms when you reach for the handle, each "drafted" on a 9-by-5 grid map that is blank save for the opening foyer and the antechamber skulking at the far end. Every time you enter the house, the layout wipes itself clean and must be filled in again.

Blue Prince (PC) Review

Blue Prince is a puzzle game shrouded with mystery, featuring over 40+ craftable floorplans, many permanent upgrades to improve your runs onward, and reaching the mysterious 46th room to claim your inheritance to the manor.

Developed by Dougbomb and published by Raw Fury, Blue Prince is a charming puzzle game incorporating RNG and roguelike elements. When I started the game, I felt a Resident Evil vibe. Stepping into the manor, you are greeted by a letter from your uncle explaining that the manor is your inheritance—but only if you can reach the 46th room. To achieve this goal, the letter outlines that players cannot stay overnight or use objects outside the manor... Read more
