While we're still waiting for Valve to get round to officially testing it, please be assured:

Ctrl Alt Ego is very much playable on Steam Deck!

With any luck it will eventually be considered VERIFIED too.

NOTE: An earlier version of this patch (20.12.2023) included a config file that was breaking the link to where game saves are located. This has now been corrected - sorry for the trouble.

• Fix: One particular bad-bug-bot was loading in too late in Conscious Robot Services Lobby area
  
• Fix: Merging Station train - hopeful fix for a case where the train appeared very much derailed, but its internal state considered not derailed.
  

Charlatan Wonder - in case you haven't heard of him - is an independent player and reviewer of immersive sims who shares his thoughts about them on his YouTube channel.

Every couple of years he publishes a tier list video - it's not supposed to be taken too seriously, and everyone would almost certainly rank the games differently, but still... he knows his stuff... and we're incredibly excited and proud to announce that he's ranked Ctrl Alt Ego at the very top of the top tier!

Yes above the likes of Deus Ex, Prey 2017 and Dishonored! No, we didn't think it could be possible either.

• Fix: Merging Station left-side stairs collision was slightly off
  
• Fix: Evil Eye on those stairs could see through external wall
  
• Fix: Prevent worm from being collected through ceiling
  

• Fix: Some sensors weren't selectable with the 'ego mode as a toggle input action' key-binding setting enabled
