V1.1 - Chapter 1 Improvements, Visual upgrade & More!

[h2]ːleftiː Chapter 1 Improvements[/h2]
We've taken the time to spice Chapter 1 up in a big way!
Update 1.1 brings brand new microgames to chapter 1, some of them tying into the story while others are placed in completely arbitrary locations just because we thought it'd be fun to have them there!



We hope you have fun playing them all!

Additionally, we're also upgrading the look of SPOOKWARE!
Now the game has a more painted feel to it, blending the hand-drawn characters and the environment together. And well, now we've done that!
Enjoy a smoother SPOOKWARE than ever before with this new visual update!

Steam has noticed us and has given us the chance to make community items for SPOOKWARE!
We now have Trading cards, emotes, profile backgrounds, and badges!




[h3]ːmetalsteedː Additional Changes:[/h3]
  • Removed text prompts for warping in numerous locations where they felt unnecessary (f.ex. leaving rooms, entering obvious areas)
  • Shortened some dialogue in Chapter 1 that felt too long.
  • Updated layout of the Library in Chapter 1 to fit with new microgame.

Update Notes V1.04

CHANGES:
  • Added AZERTY Support
  • Added a pop-up after every major tape sequence that tells the player that they've unlocked new tapes in the basement.
  • Players can now immediately replay the prologue microgames by interacting with the tv in the basement.
  • Virtuoso achievement, found in Chapter 1, pop-up now happens whenever you perfect a recruit microgame, not just the first one.
  • Added music notes coming out of the band room in the gym to more easily guide the player to the band room.
  • Added additional signs to the cruise ship to guide the player where to go.


BUGS:
  • Fixed bug where the game would freeze when quitting out of the game in the remix mode and starting it back up again.
  • Sound can no longer be heard in the tape collection when setting the master volume to 0.
  • When starting a new game, the Sound and graphics settings are no longer reset to 100.
  • In the tape collection, the boss recipe microgame is now correctly stated to have mouse controls.
  • After using the kill screen in an old sequence, it will no longer appear immediately when starting a new sequence and losing once.
  • The ghost flashing microgame found in Ch1 will no longer say Too Soon / Too late at the wrong times.
  • Fixed a bug where it was possible for players to fall out of the map in the Sewers.
  • Fixed a bug where pausing in the full credits sequence wouldn't stop the sequence from moving.

Update Notes V1.03

  • Fixed a bug where player unlocking Chapter 2 didn't register if they closed the game after, causing them to have to play the final sequence of Chapter 1 again. If you unlocked CH2 before, it should be on your map screen again now!
  • Fixed a bug where the Perfect achievement for CH3 would be given out even when lives are lost.
  • Fixed a bug where the Bone-licious achievement for completing CH3 had a chance of not begin given out to the player. If this happened to you, just go to the map screen and you should receive it!

Update Notes V1.02

  • - Fixed a bug where the initial alarm microgame had a chance to not be in the tape collection.
  • - Fixed a bug where the ribcage microgame's sound in chapter 1 would play twice.
  • - Fixed a bug that didn't allow players to receive a hidden achievement related to tree guys... If this happened to you, just look for the tree guy in the third chapter again!
  • - Fixed a bug where players would get locked out of later completed chapters after completing earlier ones again! (sorry 100%'ers). Anyone who had this happen to them should have their old chapters unlocked again!
  • - Fixed a bug where players could get trapped at the far side of MrBlue's bed.
