■ Feb. 8 (Wed) Data Patch Details
- General: Issue where the download process bar could sometimes not be seen or the download screen was black when downloading voice patches, was fixed.
- General: Issue where the selected voice patch sometimes did not play after it was downloaded was fixed.

A data patch for resolving some identified issues was carried out without

■ Feb. 7 (Tue) Data Patch Details
- Running the game: Issue where running the game for the first time after the GameGuard update led to an unknown GameGuard error was fixed.
- Sailing: Issue where errors occurred with intermittent docking was fixed.
- Language: Issue with missing translations was fixed.
- Account: Issue where errors occurred after pressing ESC during the initial company focus selection was fixed.
- Estate: Issue where the animation during rank changes couldn't be skipped was fixed.


Please exit the game completely before logging in again for the patch to be applied.

Please follow the steps outlined below to resolve the issue where with some PC environments, a message reading ‘GameGuard reset error’ appears when on Steam.

(* Through our Feb. 7 temporary maintenance, we have fixed the issue so that the GameGuard error does not appear for users that are new to installing the game.)


■ How to Resolve the Issue (Edited)
Method 1) Right-click on the ‘Uwo.exe’ file from the folder in which the game is installed. Run the game with administrator rights.
Method 2) (Use if Method 1 does not work) Right-click on the ‘\Uncharted Waters Origin Demo\GGSetup.exe’ file, which you can find at the bottom of the folder in which the game is installed. Run the game with administrator rights.
Method 3) (Use if Method 2 does not work) Delete and reinstall the game.
