Hello Tacticians!

We have finally released the first playable demo today!
Please review the below note on what you can expect from the build today, and what are the known issues at the moment!

[h3][Build Release Note][/h3]

• Demo build is now released - you can now play the demo build until June 22nd 10 am PDT!
  
• Work in Progress BGM is included in the build
  
• The cutscene with the subtitle / without voice acting included in the build
  
• You can now play through the Episode 7 battle
  
• You can now play through the Episode 8 battle
  
• You can experience the contents at the Camp after episode 7 and after episode 8
  
• You can skip the battle by pressing [ESC] and selecting "Skit the Battle"
  
• You can use "UNDO" function during the battle by pressing [ESC] and selecting "UNDO"
  
• You can change the language setting using the "Settings" menu
  
• English, Korean, German, Spanish, Brazilian PT, and Russian languages added to the game
  

[h3][Known Issues][/h3]
Below issues are present in the build, we are aware of the issues and will make updates once they get fixed

• Some of the character's modeling changes when Eden engages in the conversation with them - Balastar, Rosalina, Chelsea, and Selma
  
• When Axe-type weapons are equipped in the secondary weapon slot, the weapon won't be recognized. Please equip them in the primary weapon slot.
  
• Hunter, Fighter, and Mage classes are equipped with temporary armors since their armor designs are not complete.
  
• German, Spanish, Brazilian PT and Russian languages are not 100% complete, there can be few words not translated and left in English for the demo build
  
• There can be other issues you might face, please report us all the bugs on the Bug Report section of the Steam Community
  

Steam Next Fest has begun and Lost Eidolons is participating! You can try out the game demo today until June 22nd!

[h2][What You Can Expect from Demo][/h2]
This is an early look at the game and isn't a representation of the final game.

In the demo you'll be able to:

• Challenge Episode 7's battle.
  
• Visit the camp after Episode 7's battle.
  
• Challenge Episode 8's battle.
  
• Visit the camp after Episode 8's battle.
  

While at the camp, you can perform a variety of activities, as well as prepare for the upcoming battle between episodes 7 and 8. The combat will be set to the Challenging difficulty, and since we are not providing other difficulty options, we are providing unlimited use of "Undo" function for the demo.

Also, since we are not providing a "Save" function, you have an option to "Skip the Battle".

We want to hear about your first impressions of the game! Let us know on our Discord server or in the newly minted sub-forums in the community Discussions! Feedback and bug reports are duly welcome!

[h3]1. Observer Contest[/h3]
We want you to capture screenshots of your favorite moment during the gameplay and share them with the community. Share your screenshots in the screenshots section of the Community Hub or on Twitter and leave the link on the Discord event channel!

[h3]2. Master Strategist Challenge[/h3]
Try to win in the fewest number of turns! Clear Episode 8's combat scenario as quickly as possible and share the video with us! You cannot use the Undo function nor can you lose any units, and the video must be an unedited video of your try. Upload the video on YouTube and share the link with us!

We're in search of keen-eyed tacticians and master strategists! We have two contests for participants in the Lost Eidolons Steam Next Fest demo to partake in. One is to capture a nice screenshot of your favorite NPC, feature, or environment.

The other contest is to complete the game in as few player turns as possible (these are player phases, not individual unit turns).


[h3]What to Do[/h3]

• Take a screenshot of an NPC, place, or moment that you like during the Lost Eidolons demo.
  
• Post it to the Screenshots section of the Steam Community Hub.
  
• Alternatively, you can post it on Twitter with the #LostEidolonsMoments hashtag.
  
• Include a caption of what you liked about this particular moment!
  
• Join our Discord and post a link to your submission (whether it's on Steam or Twitter) in the #observer_contest event channel!

[h3]# of Winners:[/h3]
From a pool of submissions that includes the Steam community hub and Twitter submissions, 15 submissions will be selected, and we'll be sending out the following:

• 1 (One) Physical Collector's Edition Set
  
• 3 (Three) Digital Deluxe Edition of Lost Eidolons
  
• 12 (Twelve) Guaranteed Beta Access

[h3]What to Do[/h3]

• Complete the combat scenario of Episode 8. You may organize your units however which way you want in the camp section prior.
  
• Finish the battle in as few player turns as possible. A player turn is one phase in which you command all of your units.
  
• No friendly units must be defeated during the battle.
  
• Do not use the Undo command at all.
  
• Upload your recorded run onto YouTube. It can be listed or unlisted.
  
• Join our Discord and post a link to your submission in the #master_strategist event channel!

Thank you for playing the very first Lost Eidolons game demo. We're grateful that our game was interesting enough for you to take some time to try it out. As it's the first demo we've put out for this game, feedback matters a lot to us.

We've prepared a survey that would help us greatly if you could fill it out. Your feedback will actively shape the future of Lost Eidolons. To show our appreciation for your valuable feedback, we are going to pick 100 people and will provide access to all future beta testing (coming soon!), and 10 people for the Digital Deluxe Version of the game for Early Access! Submit a screenshot to the community hub! or share the screenshot on Twitter with hashtag #LostEidolonsMoment . We'll pick out 15 submissions to send out prizes to that you can keep yourself or gift to a friend!

[h2]Master Strategist Challenge[/h2]
Record a video of completing episode 8's battle in the fewest number of turns. Rewards are similar to the screenshot contest and we'll pick out 10 eligible runs. THE UNDO COMMAND IS FORBIDDEN IN THIS CHALLENGE and no units can be lost!
