Over the past months, we’ve received tons of amazing feedback about the RMS Prologue. Many of you enjoyed it, but also pointed out that it lacked some of the features that make Rally Mechanic Simulator truly special. We heard you, and we agree!
That’s why we’re taking a big step forward:
Next week, we plan to eveolve the Prologue into Rally Mechanic Simulator: LIGHT EDITION and it will remain 100% free.
This isn’t just a name change. It’s a full overhaul designed to bring the Prologue much closer to the full version of the game. We’re adding more content, more functionality, and features the community asked for - including the ability to save your game.
We want this to be a better entry point for new players, and a genuine thank-you to everyone who gave the Prologue a try. It’s our way of saying: we appreciate your support, and we want you to have fun even if you’re not ready to buy the full game yet.
[h3]🛠️ What’s coming in Rally Mechanic Simulator: LIGHT?[/h3]
Here’s what you’ll get in the upcoming update:
✅ The game can now be saved!
Yes - finally! You’ll be able to continue your work between sessions, just like in the full version.
✅ All updates and bug fixes from the full version
The LIGHT edition will be upgraded to the current stable build of RMS, including performance improvements, UI fixes, and core stability enhancements.
✅ 2 free rally cars unlocked: Pudro 276 and Sortes SC95T1
These two vehicles will be fully playable, letting you experience core systems like damage handling, part swapping, diagnostics, and driving.
✅ Full access to the Paint Shop
Customize your ride just like in the full game - from base colors to decal placement and liveries.
✅ Test Drive mode with latest improvements
Take your cars for a spin before hitting the stages to test handling, upgrades, and reliability.
✅ Updated failure system
Experience realistic part breakdowns that vary based on your repairs and rally conditions.
✅ Bronze League rally access (limited)
Try a selection of beginner rally events and see how your preparation and repairs hold up under pressure.
✅ New commentator voice lines
The improved commentator system brings more atmosphere and energy to your rally events.
✅ 2 garage slots
Keep and manage multiple cars at once - just like a real rally team would!
✅ Ability to purchase extra cars via low-cost DLCs
Want to grow your garage even more? Optional car DLCs let you expand your collection at your own pace.

To keep things balanced, some premium features will still be exclusive to the full version:
❌ No access to the Dyno
❌ No sponsorship contracts
❌ No internal tuning parts
But for a free version, we think it’s pretty packed with features!
