Now, all of you know a great deal about SOTI so let's talk about Autonauts first. While we can call it a farming game, technically, it's a lot more about the simulation part of the life-sim genre.

In Autonauts, you travel across universe and colonise uninhabited planets.. with the help of your bots. Yes, you heard that right. You'll be creating a colony of robots, automating them by using a visual programming language with the ultimate goal to create a fully automated and self-sustained colony. And don't be scared about the "programming" part - it's very easy to learn and you don't need to code anything!

"But how is it similar to Spirit of the Island?!" - good question! Autonauts has all core features of a good life-sim game: from gathering to building, cooking and fishing to tailoring, farming, animal husbandry and more - the opportunities to automate and colonise and truly limitless. So instead of being the "adventuring farmer", here you'll take a role of a robotic colony leader! Sounds exciting? We bet it is! Christmas is coming and Spirit of the Island if fully ready to it! In this update we are introducing new Christmas decorations, as well as two new major systems that many asked for! Without further ado, let' get started!

NEW

• Christmas Decorations: Christmas Tree, Santa, Gnomes, Sleds and a Snowman! You will find them in the Decorations tab of the build menu;
  
  
  
  
• New Banking System: now you can build a Banking Machine and deposit your coins and earn daily interest (about 1,5%);
  
  
  
  
• New Pet System: you can build a dog house or a cat cushion (or both!) and get new little friends to join your family! At first they will be little baby pets, but as time passes they'll grow and mature cats and doggos. For now they will roam around your farm and consume some foods, but in later updates we'll add new interactions with them. You can have 2 pets maximum for now.
  

CHANGES AND FIXES
Performance improvements near some of the game objects;
Improved all animal sound effects.

Introducing the new Wedding System: now you can marry some of our NPCs!
Romanceable NPCs:
- Trader
- Witch
- Captain
- Pub Owner
- Fisherman
- Artist
Of course same sex marriage options are included with some of the NPCs as well! Oh, and don’t forget to give your SO a gift on your anniversary *wink*;

• New item: Wedding Ring. After all, there can’t be a wedding without a ring, right? You can craft it on the furnace;
  
• Our tourists have dressed up for the winter! Expect to see them rock some new outfits. We’ve also given them a few more winter-y things to do on the island;
  
• We’ve expanded the updated tutorial to the multiplayer mode.
  

CHANGES

• We’ve yet again improved the tourist algorithm to make them arrive to your island more consistently. Please tell us if the bug with tourists not coming at all appears again;
  
• Diary trigger events (like timed quests) should no longer work during an active event (dialogue etc);;
  
• Quests from the NPC married to player will no longer work.
  

FIXES

• Vacancy houses will now have their pretty snowy roofs too;
  
• Tourists won’t get stuck in a perpetual shopping loop now. This happened when you loaded a nighttime saved game;
  
• We fine-tuned the calendar and the instances of incorrect events shouldn’t happen now;
  
• Fixed UI error when you could not select a calendar day;
  
• Вrop button is now showing properly on Work Contracts;
  
• Now our staff doesn’t wear two layers of clothes just because they can.
