The June “Summer Heat” Update arrives in Arkesia tomorrow. Downtime will begin on June 19 at 12 a.m. PT (7 a.m. UTC) and is expected to last 5 hours. Encounter the next chapter of Lost Ark new adventures to the cursed, volcanic land of South Kurzan, and challenge the alluring and deadly Echidna in the first Kazeros Raid. Along with the next major chapter beginning in Arkesia, this update brings Chaos Assault Part II, Proving Grounds Season 5, a new Ark Pass, Western Emote winners, balance changes, and much more!

We’re excited to share a roadmap update with new content arriving in July, September, and later this year in 2024, with new raids, activities, adventures, and Tier 4, the next evolution of Lost Ark’s endgame. Below you’ll learn when we plan to release major changes to Lost Ark along with some descriptions of the systems if you missed LOA ON! We will still release a video roadmap next month that covers the end of summer and fall and dives into some specifics— such as detailing the months that some of the later content will be arriving in.

The June "Summer Heat" update arrives next week on June 19, bringing the next chapter of Lost Ark with the introduction of the Chaotic Continent of South Kurzan and the first Kazeros Raid — Echidna. We’re excited to announce a special art contest for the upcoming Echidna Raid. Players will have the opportunity to create Echidna-themed loading screens that will be added into the game for several months during the summer, while Echidna is a featured endgame raid. Over the weekend, Smilegate RPG showcased some exciting plans for the future of Lost Ark at LOA ON, with major progression updates arriving this summer in Korea in the form of Season 3 & Tier 4. We know that players are eager to learn when these updates will be brought to the West, and learn the full details of what these systems will entail. Our teams at Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG are working to finalize our plan to release these updates in the West later this year, and are excited for the future of Arkesia.

We plan to cover and detail these systems in a more in-depth Team Update article in the coming weeks, and our next roadmap will release in July, covering our plans for the rest of the summer, fall, and Tier 4’s arrival to Arkesia’s Western shores, along with details of those systems for Western audiences.
