It’s Fahmi’s birthday today. He would have been 35.

He wasn’t one to make a big fuss about the day - I suppose that was how he was raised. But I grew up in a family that makes big deals out of birthdays. So, one year, I asked him if it was okay if I celebrated with him. He laughed at the fact that I felt the need to ask but admitted that it made him feel loved.

So here I am, three years after his passing, still making a big deal out of it. Because he deserves it. And I’d love for all of you to join in celebrating his legacy too.

We’re racing toward the release of Afterlove EP at what feels like neck-breaking speed now. As we count down to Valentine’s Day, I’m excited to share that we’ve put together something special to honor Fahmi’s birthday and his legacy: The Love After Coffee Bundle. It includes Coffee Talk, What Comes After, and Afterlove EP - and it’ll be available when Afterlove EP launches on February 14th, 2025.



We are so close to the finish line, so close to fulfilling the dream Fahmi entrusted to us, to Pikselnesia. Thank you so much for sticking with us on this journey.

Making a game about emotionally wayward 20-somethings in a band? You have my sympathies. Night In The Woods nailed the assignment so thoroughly, and is so beloved, that you're in for some tough comparisons. Afterlove EP has plenty going for it that makes it seem like it might be able to hold its own, however. It's set in the city of Jakarta, Indonesia, for one. It was conceived of by the creator of Coffee Talk, another beloved game, for another.

It's now got a release date: February 14th.

Honestly, I can’t think of a better date for all of us to come together and share in this creation - this labor of love we’ve poured our hearts into. Please come celebrate the day of love with Rama and get your hands on Afterlove EP that day!

This game has been a deeply personal journey for our team. As some of you might have noticed from how often I talk about him, Afterlove EP was the dream project of our late director, Mohammad Fahmi Hasni, who passed away in 2022. Completing it has been a way for us to honor Fahmi’s vision, his passion for storytelling, and his insistence on talking non-stop in my head.

Also, since we’re talking about Fahmi, a little heads up: his birthday is coming up on January 29th, and we’ve planned something special to celebrate it with you.
