Our community of Jans has grown tremendously over the past few months, and we’re incredibly grateful for your kind words and the valuable feedback you’ve shared. We received many requests to add these features to the game, and now we couldn’t be happier that you can finally try it by yourselves! 
[/p][p]Relax Mode
We introduced a new difficulty option for those who prefer to enjoy the story and exploration without worrying too much about survival mechanics or inventory management.
[/p][p]New Save System
Saving just got simpler. You can now save automatically upon exiting the game, and during crucial story moments. Keep in mind that any saves from the open playtests in October will not transfer to the full game. [/p][h3]
Introducing the Gamer’s Den[/h3][p]This new base module, designed by the Scientist, brings a little fun to your daily routine. Step inside the Gamer’s Den to play the new Card Game and lift the spirits of your Jans.
[/p][p]Card Game
Tested in our office kitchen and now fully available in the Gamer’s Den, this mini-game gives you a playful break from managing the base.

New Sidestory Solve the mystery with a new Noir-themed storyline in the Gamer’s Den, and take the role of Jan Detective.

[/p][p][/p][h3]Photo Mode[/h3][p]Capture the perfect shot with new photo tools. Play with lighting, angles, and composition to recreate your favorite scenes. And yes, Molly is always ready to strike a pose, Titanic recreations welcome.

[/h3][p]Base [/p][p]Redesign your base from top to bottom. Animate and personalize every module with new styles and set designs to make your base feel truly yours.

[/p][p]Our base is getting ready for a Free Major Content Update that is landing on December 8!
[/p][p]This major update brings one of the largest content drops we’ve made so far, introducing new mechanics, new customization options, and many new ways to shape your playthrough.
[/p][p]Those of you who joined the Open Playtests, already got a glimpse of what’s coming. And now everyone will be able to experience it in-game on December 8. [/p][p][/p][p] [/p][h3]
Here’s a reminder of what’s coming:[/h3][p]
Features According to Your Feedback[/p][p]- Relax Mode We have received a lot of your feedback about the difficulty of the game. That’s why we decided to add an additional difficulty setting for players who want to focus on exploration and story rather than survival management.[/p][p]
- New Save System
We’ve heard you loud and clear, and we’re adding a rehauled save system, which now lets you save upon exiting the game for that extra flexibility. What’s more, autosave now triggers after dialogues with other alters. Please note: saves created during the playtests will not work outside of them. [/p][p]New Module - Gamer’s Den[/p][p]A new base module designed by the Scientist. This project was loosely based on a place meaningful to every Jan Dolski. It will unlock new activities where you will be able to play Card Game and raise the mood of Jans as well![/p][p]
Card Game [/p][p]Made and tested in Jan Dolski’s kitchen on the 4th floor in our office. Now available in the Gamer’s Den. Play a new mini-game designed to add a bit of downtime and fun between your base duties![/p][p][/p][p]Photo Mode [/p][p]You will be able to experiment with angles, lighting, and composition to capture that perfect shot. Recreate iconic scenes from your favorite movies or games. We’ve already seen a few attempts at Titanic-themed photos, and let’s just say Molly is always eager to join a photoshoot…
[/p][p]New Customization Options[/p][p]- Base Customisation Now, you will be able to personalize the exterior of every module of your base to reflect your own style! You will find them animated, and many more set designs that you can personalize to your own liking. 
[/p][p]- Spacesuit Skins [/p][p]New suit variations, letting you change your appearance while exploring the planet. We cannot wait to see your reactions specifically about: Molly Spacesuit, Frostpunk Spacesuit, and Deathowl Spacesuit!
