[h3]Fellow Survivors,[/h3]

We wanted to take you ‘behind the scenes’ into the development work going into Serum. The Steam Next Fest was useful for us in many ways, including how players interpreted the brewing UI and crafting system in the game. Additionally, though, we’re also working on some interesting new trap designs since we’re enhancing how that system will work in the game, among other things.



Combat mechanics and creature enemy animation, including how some enemies move and react when they engage in combat, are also undergoing some further work.



Using Unreal Engine 5 means we’ve been able to really push the graphical capabilities and create some realistic visuals to help immerse players into the game's narrative.



DLSS support is also being integrated into the game, and optimisation is another priority that we’re currently working on.

There is still lots to do, but thank you all for the constructive feedback. If you contacted us after playing the demo, we really appreciate it.

Welcome to another exciting update from the world of Serum! Today, we're thrilled to tell you more about serum-infused abilities. Let's dive into the details!

The days of conventional power-ups and upgrades are gone. In Serum, true power lies in the art of brewing. By collecting ingredients and mastering recipes, you can brew a variety of Serums, each granting your character unique Body Abilities.

Once you've brewed your desired serum, it's time to inject and unleash a powerful mutation. Watch in awe as your character harnesses newfound skills, turning the tide of battle and overcoming seemingly great challenges. Whether you prefer to go all-in and unleash powerful attacks like the Leap of Destruction, vanish into the shadows with stealth using Hunter Mode, or avoid battle by simply turning your tail by activating Speed Boost, there's a Serum for every playstyle.
