Day 25

Thanks to my multiple excursions, I managed to find some useful scrap. I was never very good with a bow and arrow, but at least it’s a fairly easy-to-craft weapon. I could build my bow by connecting a few pieces of metal, some gears, and a sturdy and flexible string. All I need now is a little bit of practice. Before venturing any further and facing tougher creatures, I should look around the safehouse for smaller, less dangerous prey.

Day 30

I just had a brilliant idea – or at least it seems like one. If I could place a small container just above the bow handle, I could use it to store different types of Serum and use it to enhance my arrows. I am sure that some varieties of this substance could affect my enemies differently. Maybe this will give me an upper hand against some of the abominations that stand in my way toward freedom.



Day 32

Yes! I have tested my theory, and the serum-soaked arrows proved to be a great help against a pack of Mist Wolves. The damage I can now deal against those creatures is significantly greater than before. Let’s experiment more with different Serum recipes and see if I can move to another area. This one is becoming very scarce in resources.

Take one fresh foot of a crow, a large centipede, and a handful of seeds from a rotten pumpkin. Mix well into a Serum, apply into your system, and enjoy the ride!

Day 17

I’ve been here long enough to know that I cannot get out of here without harnessing the Serum. Almost every organic being in this land is filled with green fluid, just waiting for me to collect. On one of my recent expeditions, I found a strange blueprint for a contraption that looks like it might help me retrieve the substance from the Rotten Rabbits.



I can still do it by killing the creatures, but I must traverse further after each hunt to find more colonies. Making this device might help me get more Serum from each animal I bring back. I have the traps already, so catching a live specimen should not be a problem. I must look for parts and try my luck.

Day 23

I did it! After building the device and several failed attempts, I finally have a sustainable source of Serum. If I could find more blueprints, I would be able to build bigger contraptions and gather the substance from larger animals. This would be my next step to freedom. No time to waste – I need to keep exploring.

I know that the only way to survive in this treacherous land is to inject myself with a mysterious substance that somehow shields my body from the hazardous environment. But there’s also something else I’m experiencing with each new shot.



The Serum alters how my body reacts depending on how I mix the ingredients. I still haven’t figured out exactly how this works, but once, I felt a strange increase in my mobility after injecting myself with Serum mixed with a substance that came from the Rotten Rabbit. Or maybe that was just the adrenaline?

I wonder if I can use that to my advantage and increase my chances of ever leaving this cursed place. I need to do some more testing before I am completely sure, but I have a strange feeling that I’m on the right track. The only way to find out is to hunt some more dangerous creatures and create a new mixture. This better be worth the risk!
