Survivor's Diary #1 - Crafting Table

Day 1
I came across an abandoned building, I think it used to be a laboratory, about four miles to the north from here. I found an old table there in an and dragged it all the way back. I was lucky not to be seen with this big thing. It needs some fixing but it’s going to be perfect for the job. The time is running out, I need to hurry.

Day 2
I went back to that building again and spent a few hours there searching for the stuff I needed for the distillation process. This time I wasn’t alone in that place and I almost fainted when I heard someone or something approaching. I didn’t make contact though, I guess I was lucky again.

Day 3
The table is fixed. It’s stable and I have almost everything I need to finish the process, but I’m starting to feel sick. The pain that comes to me once in a few minutes is so bad I can’t even breathe. It wakes me up at night. Sometimes I can’t stop myself from screaming.

Day 4
I was working all night. The pain is getting stronger and the attacks are coming more often. My body doesn’t even accept water anymore and I’m starting to hallucinate. I don’t know if I can survive it much longer.

Day 5
It’s ready. The crafting table is done and I cried after I finished it. It can save me. It must. I’m too close. I can’t die. Not yet. There is just one last thing left to do. I need to find a donor.

The Poison That Keeps You Alive

The morning was strangely quiet, although not everyone was lucky enough to enjoy it. The first rays of the sun shining through the forest revealed a figure sitting under a tree. It seemed like a tired man was resting there after a hard day’s work, but there was something off about him. He wasn’t moving at all. The skin on his bones was rotten, burned in a strange way, and in places seemed almost non-existent. Judging by his facial expression, one can think that before he died, he must have witnessed something horrible or experienced enormous pain. It could also be both of these things at once…

I approached him carefully, my head spinning around, eyes looking for any signs of a trap. My heart was pounding so hard, I could barely breathe.

It must be here somewhere. He must have it. Just a little. There’s no more time.

Devlog#02: Preparing animations

<>

If you ever wondered, how character movement is planned before animating it, here you go.
Yes, every move is animated buy our 3D animators and each sequense is planned prior.

Devlog#01: Development.

This is when we took off with our project, Serum. From the very beginning, we were wondering how our main character should apply healing Serum. Should it be just by regular injection like in any other game or should we think about something “more”.

That’s when we’ve developed the whole concept of the mysterious world, alien technology and the whole enigma around the serum.
