Serum throws the player head first into a dark and intriguing narrative driven by a unique game mechanic: the mysterious elixir (serum) is essential to survival, a lifeline to be injected regularly as momentary respite. Players will discover how this vital liquid can prolong their existence, amplify their abilities, and enhance their makeshift arsenal of weaponry as they uncover the Serum conspiracy.

Underpinning Serum’s thrilling narrative is the game's unique crafting mechanics, players will need to explore the shattered world, hunting and setting traps in order to harvest sources of Serum to create essential recipes, each granting distinct skills and abilities crucial for overcoming the diverse array of mutated enemies that lurk in the hazardous environment.
