Thank you to everyone who tried our demo during Steam Strategy Fest!

We only had a short window to develop the Tusk Tales mode, so we’re genuinely grateful for the positive response it has received. In fact, Cross Blitz’s demo was in the top 5 downloaded demos during Steam Strategy Fest!

As always, a huge thank you to all the players who wrote detailed feedback and suggestions in the forums and our discord. Some posts helped us spot issues we never thought of before!

We are 100% dedicated to bringing you a polished and exciting deckbuilder later this year. To make the wait more bearable and to thank our wonderful community, we decided to keep the demo online until Early Access launches!

With Steam Next Fest coming to an end, we wanted to thank everyone who played the Cross Blitz demo!

As thanks for the overwhelmingly positive reception we received, we’re making the [h2]demo available until July 10th![/h2]We hope you enjoy playing Cross Blitz for two more weeks :)

Everyone on the team feels more motivated than ever to improve the game as we continue development and move towards our Early Access release!

We are also extremely grateful to all the players who took the time to share detailed feedback in the forums and in our Discord server. We agree with many of your suggestions (balancing tweaks, UI edits, animation speed adjustments, and more!) and will do our best to implement these changes in the future. Lots of bug fixes are on the list, too!

We couldn’t have asked for better community engagement and support for our first demo. We’re so thankful and can’t wait to see you all again later this year for Early Access!

You know when the look of a game instantly captures your attention, and then you play a demo for it and it's even better? That's the journey I've been on with deckbuilding RPG Cross Blitz this week. I first heard about it last month back when word hit that it was coming to early access this year, and I was instantly taken with its chunky animal character sprites. There was something a bit Advance Wars about the look and style about its burly lion pirate captain, but just, you know, in a high seas card battle kind of setting instead of dealing with sergeants, tanks and air support. But its Steam Next Fest demo has really sunk its teeth into me this week, offering up turn-based card duels that scratch exactly the same kind of itch as Inscryption did for me a couple of years ago.
