Steam Deck Compatibility

[p]I've completed testing of A Chamber of Stars on a Steam Deck. The game runs smooth on the Steam Deck, plus the game looks and sounds great. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p](Image credit: Steam)[/p][p][/p][p]It is recommended to set the Steam Deck buttons to the following controls:[/p][p]R2/L2 to Space bar[/p][p]A face button to E key or left click[/p][p]B face button to Q key[/p][p]D pad to W/A/S/D[/p][p]Start to Esc key[/p][p][/p][p]With these settings both the exploration and rhythm game sections will be playable.[/p][p][/p][p]The controls can be changed in both the Steam Deck settings as well as the pop-up menu while launching the game.[/p]

New and improved! The reworked demo for A Chamber of Stars

As development gets closer to completion I wanted to provide a demo that would be a better representation of the final game. Available now, is the reworked demo for chapter 1-1 of A Chamber of Stars. This new version includes:

  • Improved graphics/improved sound mixing/improved performance.
  • Better balancing and changes to the mechanics in the rhythm game sections.
  • New animations/new places to explore/new npcs.
  • Lots of quality of life improvements.
  • A new ending scene outside of the Anxiety realm.

Thanks, once again for everyone’s patience. Now that this demo is out I am fully dedicating myself to putting the finishing touches and completing the full game. I hope to provide news on that soon.

A Chamber of Stars Development Progress V

Balancing life, work and solo development of a game has been slow going. The good news is that I have completed another chapter of A Chamber of Stars and I am moving into the final chapter of the project. Enjoy a new set of previews.
