Brendan Keogh's Putting Challenge News

One year ago today, the biggest game of 2022 was released. A game that included a massive environment, a thrilling yet ambiguous story, and an ambitious approach to multiplayer interaction.

That game was Elden Ring.

On the same day, I released Brendan Keogh’s Putting Challenge, which also turns one year old today!

This was my first ever commercially released game, and I made it in my spare time around a full time job. The reception has been really incredible and humbling, and it’s been so wonderful to see people actually playing and enjoying the game!

Here’s a few exciting things that happened in the game’s first year:
- Kotaku Australia crowned us as one of the best Australian games of 2022.
- The crew from Sifter played a round of golf and chatted to me about the game.
- The game was exhibited at Massive Monster’s Freeplay Parallels afterparty.
- The game was part of Melbourne International Game Week's Steam showcase.
- The game was exhibited at Game On 423 at the Brisbane Powerhouse, where I also did this little interview.
- People actually bought the game!
- My brother who doesn’t play videogames very often 100%’ed all the achievements.

Thank you everyone who has played Brendan Keogh's Putting Challenge so far! The response to my tiny game has been really wonderful and I really appreciate it.

I have fixed a few small bugs that people have found in this update. Mostly tiny ones related to specific achievements and secret holes

Most importantly, I have added functionality for taking screenshots with the Steam overlay (F12 by default, usually). So please show us your amazing scores and near misses!
