Dome Keeper is heading to Gamescom!

Awesome news, Keepers!

Dome Keeper is heading to Gamescom this year with our friends at Raw Fury. You’ll find a demo to play at their booth, located at HALL 10.1 Aisle B-21.
You’ll be able to chat to the Raw Fury team, pick up some cool merch and do some drilling!

Oh…and wouldn’t it be really cool if we had something else going on at the event too? I guess you’ll just have to stay tuned…

v4.2.2 Patch for Savegames and Mods

[h2]Hey Keepers,[/h2]
in the past we've seen a few cases of progress being lost if the system crashed or was turned off while the game was saved, for example due to a power outage. We added an improvement to the save system that prevents the complete loss of progress and will fall back to the previous save, if a file got corrupted due to a crash.
We also added some improvements to the modding and moddability of the game.

[h3]Here is what's new for v4.2.2:[/h3]
[h2]Balance and Changes[/h2]
  • implemented rolling save files. If your save file gets corrupted while writing, this means the game will fall back to the previous save and avoid losing the complete progress
  • improvements and fixes to modloader
  • fixed several bugs around side driller resource transportation

[h2]Bugfixes[/h2]
  • made loadout more resilient to remnant data from uninstalled mods
  • fixed iron worms misbehaving in some cases when handled by assessor
  • fixed lunar new year cave capturing mouse inputs, preventing keeper controls
  • fixed badly formatted separators in hint popup and added hint about exiting battle mode to loadout only
  • fixed probe supplement carrying over into next run
  • fixed condenser visuals on reload
  • fixed shredder stopped shredding after reloading run
  • stag projectiles won't have particles now, if running with option "reduced particles". This means
    much better performance on some Mac Systems when the Stag shows up.

Keepers, the Dome Keeper Mod Jam has officially concluded, and what an incredible event it was! Over the week long event, we were absolutely blown away by the creativity, talent, and passion poured into every single mod. Whether you joined to compete or just to have fun, this community never fails to amaze us, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

This award recognized a solo developer who took on the jam alone and still created something truly special. With an electrifying new mechanic, this mod added a thrilling new twist to Dome Keeper.

This award celebrated pure adorableness! The winning mod stole our hearts by introducing a fluffy new friend into the Dome Keeper universe.

[h2]🥉 3rd Place: Immersive Soundscape [/h2]
Taking third place was a mod that completely transformed Dome Keeper’s audio experience, adding depth and atmosphere to every run.

[h2]🥈 2nd Place: Spelunker Keeper [/h2]
In second place was a mod that introduced a new keeper, a fresh carry system, and stunning original music, adding a whole new layer to Dome Keeper’s underground adventures.

[h2]🥇 1st Place: More 2 Mine [/h2]
And finally, the grand prize of the Dome Keeper Mod Jam went to a mod that expanded the game’s mining mechanics in a way that felt like a natural extension of the original experience.
