Halloween Update 2.0 - Available Now!

Happy hauntings!


Strange things are afoot in Two Point County... make sure to check under dormitory beds, as students start acting like complete pumpkin heads; because the spooky season is here! Over the next week, you can expect a whole cornucopia of eerie goings-on, whether it's music designed to send a shiver down your spine, or a whole heap of pumpkins, we've got the update for you to really bring a gourd-geous look to your campus!

Now, what's Halloween without both tricks and treats? Alongside a whole cauldron of refreshed in-game items, we need your help with some troublesome tricks as you delve into our new Challenge Mode. So, let's get startled!

[h3]Challenge Mode[/h3]

Delve into our new devilish challenges to cement your high score on the leaderboard. There are two challenges to get your fangs stuck into:
  • The Siege of Noblestead - a groaning mob is amassing on campus (and no, it's not the morning after a party!). Lord Blaggard is in no mood for an undead horde, can you keep them at bay?
  • Pumpkin High - orange you glad you enrolled? Nefaria Munch has transfigured your students into her Pumpkin Headed minions, and they really need help carving out study time...


[h3]Student Customisation & New Items[/h3]

We have three spooktakular new outfits available for staff and students, where wolf we be without the odd distraction in the academic calendar?



Make sure your classrooms aren't feeling left out from the fancy dress party, deck them out with our new eerie items, designed to set the perfect haunting mood. The whole County is getting into the spirit, so keep an eye out for all the in-game changes with this Halloween refresh (or rather de-fresh, where did all these cobwebs come from?!).

  • New challenge game mode & customisation feature
  • Spooky songs so sinister you'll shake and shudder in surprise!
  • Frightfully refreshed items for a breath of fresh scare:
    • Batty windows
    • Don't look under dorm beds...
    • All organic ominous orange pumpkin planters
    • Even the most diligent janitor can't hold up against the onslaught of cobwebs...
  • Free creepy creative items: pumpkins, a spooky tree, terrifying table, wallpaper, bunting and even more pumpkins!
  • Ghastly theming changes:
    • Mysterious metamap
    • Gastronomy has been spirited away...
    • There are 199 steps to climb the Knights tower, be careful you don't get tangled!
    • Who're these apparitions on Spiffinmoore? (are they paying tuition?)
  • ..and much more spookiness for you to find!

If you'd prefer your campus remain dusted and its foliage green, there's an option for you! Head to the settings menu and scroll to find the Seasonal Content toggle to control the seasons (didn't realise you trained in Dark Arts?!).

  • Fix an issue where cursor was appearing in inaccurate places when editing courses on Course Management

  • Fixed an issue where some of the UI wasn't selectable in 4:3 if players had UI scale set to Medium or Large

  • Fixed bug where Visitors sometimes stopped moving when selling rooms or buildings
  • Fixed bug where enabling and disabling Nvidia photo mode while paused will unpause the game and cause some strangeness
  • Fixed a bug where selecting "Call Janitor" for items above 90% maintenance level wasn't allowing the janitor to repair the item
  • Fixed a bug where copying and pasting the starting building in Freshleigh used the pillars to become pink
  • Fixed a bug on Steam deck where renaming a member of staff did not update their name
  • Fixed an issue where the Cheeseball Challenge inbox message did not close when selecting "setup event"

  • Fixed a bug where assignments mention that a "Plot" is required for the Knights Tower when running Knight School.
  • Stability improvements to try and prevent out of memory crashes

Version 1.5 Hotfix #1

Hi everyone,

With the release of 1.5 yesterday, some players were unable to boot the game properly (really sorry about that!). We've just put a small hotfix live to fix this issue, so you should be able to load in as expected now.

  • Fixed an issue where some players could not load the game.


Please note - any players who experienced this issue will need to reset their keybindings when they boot the game (this does not apply to players who did not experience the problem). Apologies for the inconvenience here, we understand it's frustrating when you've got custom key binds.

Once again, apologies to those of you who experienced the issue. If anyone comes across any other bugs, please be sure to let us know in the Bugs section of the forum.

Update 1.5 - Available Now!

Hi everyone,

A brand new update is coming to Two Point Campus with lots of bug fixes, changes, and some FREE items! This is an exciting one for us as it's our first update with some cool new stuff that we hope you'll all really like (as well as bug fixes of course - we all like those!)

We're sure you're eager to hear all about what's coming in update 1.5, so let's dive right in.

[h3]New Items[/h3]
While the code team have been busy fixing bugs, our art team have been busy making some lovely new items for you to enjoy!

First up... TINY RADIATORS AND SUCH. We heard you were missing the small radiators and air-con units from Two Point Hospital, so we added some similar items for Campus. These are really useful for those of you wanting to min/max your rooms efficiently.



Next up... a new relationship AND entertainment item! There's nothing quite like going on a see-saw ride with the person you love the most, right?



For those preferring to entertain themselves, how about a personal mini-golf course. It's like a "personal pizza" but you can't eat it.



[h3]New Creative Items[/h3]
Hedges and Fences were already a great way to pretty-up your campus, but now with these new additions your building skills are going to go from here... to HERE (yes... you're right, that phrase doesn't work when you don't have hand gestures to go with them... but you get the idea).



How about some new paths? Ohhhh yeaaahhh! We've added two new pathing tools to our smartbrushes AND we've made some improvements in general to make the existing ones look even better!



[h3]Job Assignment Menu[/h3]
Possibly the most requested feature so far has been the Job Assignment screen, where you can select which areas of work each member of staff can focus on. So we're very excited to announce its arrival in Update 1.5!

  • Fix for template button prompts being incorrect when in placement mode
  • Fix for closed event rooms being removed from the timetable
  • Fix area of Blundergrad where it wasn't possible to place items
  • Added more specific messaging in blueprint build mode when buildings or rooms are not completable due to being unreachable
  • Fixed a bug where having plots unlocked in Sandbox options would subtract the value of those plots from your balance on game start
  • Room customisations can now be applied to all rooms and will carry over to newly placed rooms of that type
  • Fixed end of year awards being given when closing countdown message
  • Slightly reduced lecture seating nav bounds to reduce placement and reachability issues
  • Fixed missing SFX on customisation apply button
  • Fixed missing controller bindings for the switch profile input action
  • Added additional UI support for favourite student feature on the students list
  • Added dedicated invalid build position message for outdoor rooms not being built outdoors
  • Prevented dig site door being placed in 1 tile corridors in blueprint mode
  • Fixed issue with temperature items not always working with merged plots
  • Fixed typos in Blundergrad 3 star letter and Noblestead 2 star letter
  • Fix for it being difficult to select some fence posts
  • Fixed timetable objectives being read from the wrong timetable when in summer break
  • Fixed missing item error in the room inspector not updating when item is placed
  • Fixed training menu gamepad scroll not working when the first item is expanded in a long list
  • Fix for modifiers not being applied when upgrading the training pod
  • Shrink nav bounds of big floodlight pole so they don't overlap the insides of buildings
  • Fixed item/room tooltips going out of the screen bounds
  • Prevented dig site door item placement directly opposite dig site wall to fix nav access issues when floor is lowered
  • Removed photo mode keyboard shortcut


Update 1.5 is available to download now on Steam, so be sure to check you're running the latest version of the game to get all of these lovely new features and fixes!
