Thank you for your love & support to Fabledom 1.0. Here are the patch notes 1.02.

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed "blob" animation not applying to some objects
  • Fixed loading a save during winter would result in strange shadow colors
  • Fixed some materials would get overridden when loading during winter
  • Fixed some material would get wrong settings on start
  • Fixed small/large stone deposit/ not getting covered in snow
  • Fixed ground tiles for plaza would have weird shadows
  • Fixed fog shader hole when opaques overlap the fog material
  • Fixed sometimes rain would never stop
  • Fixed beanstalk would look "radioactive" during winter
  • Fixed wood poles construction would float on buildings like the lighthouse
  • Fixed maze garden using the wrong construction poles
  • Fixed issue where The Dark Knight's second date would give negative relationship effect.
  • Fixed issues where attacking dragon did no damage.
  • Fixed some localization issues
  • Added some missing text
  • Fixed issue where fortification could go over 10 which caused several issues with troll camps (this fix will also fix saves that were broken by this)
  • Fixed issue where Golden goose coop would not render positive area effect.
  • Fixed so quest to unlock territories can't trigger during tutorial.
  • Fixed trees not being affected by cloud shadows
  • Fixed bob encounter not using unscaled time
  • Fixed bob encounter not being affected by cloud shadows
  • Fixed issue where hero would fall below map and not return (also fixed for saves where this already happened)
  • Fixed issue with wicked witches' sister event
  • Fixed a few issues that would freeze all workers
  • Fixed issue where defeating dragon would not remove the active event.

[h2]Optimizations[/h2]
  • Simplified world fog on low quality
  • Removed variants from water shader
  • Improved how some UI text is updated

Thank you for your love & support to Fabledom 1.0. Here are the patch notes 1.01 which mainly focuses on fixing visual issues.

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Can no longer use keyboard inputs during wedding video cutscene.
  • Fixed all friends achievement
  • Fixed so prismatic liquid now shows in production controls UI
  • Fixed achievement "Popular"
  • Fixed issues with Farrah's feast
  • Fixed wooden walls can be upgraded while mounted
  • Fixed resurrecting soldiers counting as training soldiers in some quests
  • Fixed tutorial text-boxes staying on screen in pause menu
  • Fixed quest "Farrah's challenge", now counts all buildings
  • Fixed issue where Strategic council wouldn't work for newly spawned trolls
  • Fixed camera flickering when moving with mouse outside map
  • Fixed balloons not being covered in snow
  • Fixed/Updated water colors
  • Fixed waterfall would turn white on winter
  • Fixed iron deposit would turn white on winter
  • Fixed issue where tutorial focus rings would not disappear
  • Removed references to early access from some localization
  • Fixed the issue where the tutorial's circle indicating that player can buy territories wasn't removed
    after completing the tutorial
[h2]Balancing[/h2]
  • Now allows peasants to work in prismatic liquid extractor
  • Embassy now lets you lock resources like in granary and stockpile
  • Added Health regen to trolls
  • Minor balancing to Military ranking world event
  • Added grapes / juice to town shops
  • Added extra storage amount to flower farm
  • Noble world events will now trigger slightly more often
  • Added a coin option to the wicked sisters world event
  • Small balancing of different hats
  • Pawnbroker loan "Family Money" is now a bit less expensive
  • Added rewards to Farrah's request quests
[h2]Known issue[/h2]
  • Trolls camps will be bugged when you reach a fortification level higher than 10. (it should be fixed in the upcoming patch)

Hello dear players,

It feels a bit surreal to finally ship 1.0, it's been almost 4 years since I started working in my spare time on what is now Fabledom, I am so grateful to have been joined by some incredible people along the way, each one of them has made the game much better than I could have ever made it on my own. A special thanks to our artist, Joao, who has been with me since long before we even had financing.

I also feel really indebted and grateful to our wonderful community on Discord, who have been crucial to the development of the game, and a special thanks to our moderators Shannon and Curtis (Chompers) for helping out!

I look forward to welcoming new players during our release and I already have plans for our first patches to bring some additional improvements, mainly in quality of life and performance!

  • Several localization corrections.
  • Changed categories for wells, sewer and laborer huts.
  • Slight adjustment of world map UI.
  • Military units and foundations no longer block each other
  • Timescale will no longer reset when leaving the world map GUI
  • Fixed issue where some slopes were not walkable
  • Fixed towers “floating” next to rivers/ocean
  • Fixed palace attachments that appeared constructed when loading a saved game
  • Pause timescale no longer gets canceled when clicking esc
  • Fluting faun now has a flute (yay)
  • Fixed issue where hero would sometimes get stuck in a death animation.
  • Structures received from world events are now built instantly.
  • Fixed issue where units sent on mission while timescale was paused would stay in realm.
  • Fixed several issues related to happiness.
  • Added "windows" to buildings that were missing them
  • Fixed some props not being covered in snow
  • Fixed several issues related with "shadows" on water related shaders
  • Added more connection points to flag lines to make them more likely to spawn
  • Fixed some models being "fully white" during winter
  • Added wind effects to some buildings that were missing them
  • Fixed bug where some wedding pieces would appear as "fully built" after loading
  • Fixed homestead chicken coop "net windows" being black
  • Fixed/Added decorations to buildings that were missing them/or updated them
  • Fixed some shaders not using the same constant unscaled time (shaders would still play during pause or at different speeds depending on game speed)
  • Many other fixes and tweaks to improve the gameplay experience.

[h2]Balancing[/h2]
  • Balanced wedding costs
  • Feast supply production is no longer affected by any production buffs/debuffs.
  • Sending messengers to undiscovered realms is less expensive
  • Balanced trade resources amounts and offworld missions rewards
  • Buffed all Trinkets
  • Balanced some world events
  • Balanced some structures costs and upkeeps
