[h3]We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates and news about Coridden with you! [/h3]
We've been continuously working on Coridden, and we hope you'll enjoy the improvements we’ve made.

But, first of all, we've got an important announcement.

[h3]🗓️ Update on Release Date[/h3]
After giving it a lot of thought, we made a difficult decision to release the game with a slight delay. Instead of pushing the game out in December, we’ve agreed Coridden would benefit from having a bit more time to cook. With that in mind, we’re excited to announce that Coridden will be released early next year, in Q1 2025. This additional time will allow us to further polish the game, ensuring the best possible experience we can provide. Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter.

Now, let's give you a sneak peek at the things we've changed!

[h3]🌇 Quilon Rebuilt[/h3]
We’re excited to introduce the updated capital city, Quilon, home of the Dayal siblings. The city has now a new layout and look, designed to guide you more intuitively through its charming streets. We’ve removed invisible walls we were never a fan of to enhance immersion and replaced the old houses with modular and performance-friendly structures. We hope you love the new vibe of Quilon as much as we do! We’re still working on adding some ambient sounds to further enhance that friendly town feel.



[h3]🗡️ Colour Coding Weapons[/h3]
As many of you have shared your challenges in sorting through inventory items, we’ve introduced a slight color-coding system to make it easier to identify and find the items you’re looking for. Red indicates heat damage, green for poison, purple for electric, blue for sharp, brown for piercing, and yellow for blunt damage. We’re eager to hear your thoughts on this new feature!



[h3]💎 Buying Alterant Spaces[/h3]
We’re continuing to refine the Alterant system, similar to “gem slots” in other diablo-like games. You will now be able to purchase additional Alterant spaces for your weapons! While it’s a bit costly, it’s a great option if you find a weapon you love but need more spaces to enhance it. We’ve also decreased the level multiplier on many Alterants, making them more accessible earlier in the game. We’re still fine-tuning the balance, so stay tuned for more updates!

[h3]We've been hard at work recently, and wanted to share some of the cool things we've been up to in Coridden, so let's jump into it![/h3]

[h3]👂🏼 Adding Voiceovers[/h3]
One of the key milestones we've reached is integrating some of the voiceovers. The NPCs along the main story will have a VO, as well as the most important NPC characters, like Charvi, Ira or Najji. On the other hand, characters in side-quests or optional dialogue will not have a VO. It's really an amazing feeling to hear your characters talk for the first time! 😊

[h3]🎞️ Game Intro[/h3]
We've also put together an intro video. It’s meant to set the mood and give you a glimpse of the story’s themes when you launch the game for the first time.



[h3]🪞 Character portraits[/h3]
On the art front, we've been closely collaborating with our artist on new character portraits. We've put a lot of thought into these, and we're really pleased with how they turned out! What do you think?



And of course, we've been busy behind the scenes optimizing the game, fixing bugs, and stabilizing the build. The community feedback we received during the closed Beta playtest was extremely helpful in identifying things we should tackle next. It’s hard to showcase these parts, but please believe us it takes a lot of work to make the game reach our standards 😉
