[h3]We've been hard at work recently, and wanted to share some of the cool things we've been up to in Coridden, so let's jump into it![/h3]

[h3]👂🏼 Adding Voiceovers[/h3]
One of the key milestones we've reached is integrating some of the voiceovers. The NPCs along the main story will have a VO, as well as the most important NPC characters, like Charvi, Ira or Najji. On the other hand, characters in side-quests or optional dialogue will not have a VO. It's really an amazing feeling to hear your characters talk for the first time! 😊

[h3]🎞️ Game Intro[/h3]
We've also put together an intro video. It’s meant to set the mood and give you a glimpse of the story’s themes when you launch the game for the first time.



[h3]🪞 Character portraits[/h3]
On the art front, we've been closely collaborating with our artist on new character portraits. We've put a lot of thought into these, and we're really pleased with how they turned out! What do you think?



And of course, we've been busy behind the scenes optimizing the game, fixing bugs, and stabilizing the build. The community feedback we received during the closed Beta playtest was extremely helpful in identifying things we should tackle next. It’s hard to showcase these parts, but please believe us it takes a lot of work to make the game reach our standards 😉

Today, we're embarking on a journey to explore shapeshifting in Coridden. Whether you've just discovered our game or you're already played the demo, understanding the art of shapeshifting is key to mastering the game. In this mini-guide, we'll delve into what shapeshifting is all about, how you can transform into different forms, and the advantages it brings to your gameplay.

[h3]Why Shapeshift?[/h3]
Shapeshifting is really important in Coridden. When you change into a beast, you can run faster and jump higher, which helps you move through the game more easily, as well as access some hidden shelves and nooks. On the other hand, when you are in your human form, you can use your fingers to open treasure chests and collect goodies you find along the way.



[h3]How Do You Get This Ability?[/h3]
To shapeshift, you need special shards. These shards sometimes appear when you beat a beast in the game. Your gauntlets can use these shards to let you turn into the beast you defeated. The more beasts you beat, the more shapes you can change into!



[h3]Skill Trees For All[/h3]
Every beast type has its own skills called Beast Mastery. These are like skill-trees with useful abilities for you to use when you’re in beast form. It's like having two characters in one because you can access both your beast and human skills anytime! Remember, each beast has its own strengths and weaknesses.



[h3]Play and Grow Together[/h3]
Coridden is designed as a co-op adventure. You and your friends can fight, ride, and complete challenges together, making the game more fun and exciting as you grow and improve as a team.

We have some exciting new updates to share with you all. Our team has been making some progress on various fronts, and we’re thrilled to give you a sneak peek into our progress 😀

[h3]🪨 Caves[/h3]
We’ve updated our cave environments, adding a bit more life to them. What do you think?



[h3]⬆️ Level up effect[/h3]
A lot of you mentioned that it's hard to notice the level up pop-up in the middle of the fight. We added a new animation to make it more visible!



[h3]🪞 Character portraits[/h3]
We’re making steady progress in creating new character portraits. We've recently shared the portraits of all seven beasts. Check that out if you missed it:

Now we're working on portraits of our human characters. Hang on tight, we'll reveal them soon!

Overall, we’re putting a lot of effort into updating environments, refining skills and effects, and improving localization. Of course, bug fixing has been a major focus, too 😅 Oh, and we’re just about to start working with talented voice actors to bring the main story dialogues to life!
