We remember that we promised to release an update for you in April, but we now see that for better quality and refinement of features, we need a little extra time. Therefore, we have decided to announce the exact release date of the update, May 20th!

While we're working on our massive April update, we haven't stopped improving the game. In this patch, we focused on fixing issues following the recent gamepad update. We listened to the problems you encountered and tried to address them all.

Work on the new rooftop is in full swing, and we're making sure we reach the April deadline. Thank you for your feedback, active participation on the Steam forums, in our Discord community, and for your reviews on Steam! Because of you, we can continue to make the game even better!

QTE tool prompts now work with arrow keys, as well as WASD
Fixed colliders of some plants and crypto farms
Fixed state errors in the diorama with the crashed airplane
Fixed issues with construction in the Smart Tower zone
Fixed incorrect damage from defensive towers
Pump holograms can now be destroyed
Minions are now prohibited from stealing blueprints
Craftable items are now displayed at the top of the list

Control scheme display for gamepad added to the settings menu
Tutorials for gamepad controls added
Fishing controls reworked
Profile selection menu controls fixed
Interaction "flower" behavior with interactive objects on gamepad revised
Behavior fixed when opening tutorials
Controls fixed in cook and fish fillet modes
Controls fixed in resource printer
Controls fixed in resource deposit window for constructing buildings
Errors fixed when switching control method from mouse to gamepad in various menus
Removed numbers from inventory when playing with gamepad
Controls fixed in mouse and gamepad expeditions
Other control fixes for the mouse and gamepad in the game

Fixed incorrect scroll in trading, cooking, and workbench menus
Added health parameter display in cooking recipes
Fixed GUI of resource printer and generators when approaching closely
Removed some unused items from the library
Notebook interface and controls fixed
Display fixed with "Increased Text" option enabled
Localization errors fixed
During expeditions, attached building recipe displays that interfered with navigation are hidden

Added sound for menu item switching when playing with gamepad
Added sound for destruction of building hologram

Fixed an issue with the pump in old saves
Memory leaks causing lag during extended playtime fixed

Players who lost their fishing rods and repellent balloons should now find them

Fixed an issue with QTE (Quick Time Events) when controlling the water pump, saw, and other tools with a mouse
Fixed some UI errors
Fixed a situation where leeches were not generating infection bushes after their death, leading to resource loss

We've just launched our open playtest for gamepad support and you're invited 🎮

[h3]Please read the below carefully on how to install the build, how to submit your feedback, and protect your save file.[/h3]

[h3]How to install beta build: [/h3]

Right click on the game in Library -> Properties -> Beta-versions and enter code: "gamepadbeta2024". You'll unlock "gamepad_beta" branch in the list. Select it and Steam will install beta-version.
Don't forget to opt-out from beta after finishing the testing to get regular game updates as usual

We'd like to hear from you if you'll play on gamepad as well as mouse & keyboard, because UI has also been changed for mouse too.

Please make a backup with your save files before playing beta-build. We are not testing save capability between newer and older versions and if you return to the default branch on Steam before update release you can experience some issues with save files!"
