We're almost halfway through this festive season already, but the gifts keep coming!
HOLO-DAY HUNT
This post is here to tell you about our upcoming Holo-Day Weekend event, which will work just like our Holoween event – every player will receive some Holo Hunter Potions in the mail, and each one can be used to increase your chances of finding a Holo Spirit (that's a Spirit with a unique color palette – you know, like Shiny Pokémon) from 0.2% to 10%!!!
The Holo-Day Weekend takes place from December 15th to December 18th, so just make sure to pop into the game during that time to grab your potions. Once you've got them, they're yours to keep until you use them.
Here are the details:
- Everyone gets three Holo Hunter Potions
- Each potion will increase Holo chances to 10%, but they don't stack
- Each potion applies to the encounter, not the individual Spirits – which means you can get up to three Holo Spirits in one encounter
- The potion wears off when you tame a Holo, or when the day ends, whichever comes first
- Once you have the potion, you keep it until you use it, even after the event is over
DLC and WINTER UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT
It wouldn't be the gifting season without... gifts, would it? And boy, do we have them, in the form of... our new DLC! This seasonal bundle includes a GIGANTIC Snowman House, two snowmen (Snowmelia and Frostopher, who are best friends), a decorative snowboard, a fuzzy rug, and five different icicles to frost up your life.
The DLC will cost $3.99 with a 15% launch discount for one week!
But wait, there's more! We're also giving a free update to everyone, which includes even more goodies! So many, in fact, that I need to make a bullet point list:
- Gingerbread House
- Gingerbread Boi and a Gingerbread Lass
- Firepit
- Three varieties of Presents

We also have some really cool new features coming to the game:
- Store up to 300 Spirits at the Science Center (no Barn required!)
- A new Warp Totem which serves as a fast-travel point to wherever you place it
- Even Bigger Barn (twice the size as the current biggest)
- Five new Spirits!!!!
- And the INFINIDUNGEON (Infinite floors. Level cap removed. Good luck.)
- And that's only the beginning. I haven't even told you specifics, like what the new Spirits are, or where the Infinidungeon can be found. Heheheh.

Patch! Notes! 11!!!!! YEAH!!!
- There was a bug that totally broke the Earth Temple's ladder plant if you used fertilizer on it! We fixed it... but, uh, we did hope that people would use the Alchemist's Wand on it, not try to grow it the slow way. We get it! The temple is exciting so it's easy to forget the cool item you just picked up 😅
- Shocking news: Apparently the very first letter that you get in the game... was never delivered. We blame Moonstone Island's Postal Service (which is run by Zed in his spare time). It should be in your mailbox now!
- Do you have a ton of custom wallpaper and floor tiles? And is your game lagging like crazy? Ooooops. It should be better now!
- Y'all found another exploit – if you clicked your mouse and pressed E at the same time while scything crops, you could get double the seeds. We're really sorry but we had to patch it out!
- Spirits will now tell you if they've already been fed and/or brushed that day in a little bubble above their heads. You can totally pet them as many times as you like anyway, but at least you don't have to.
- The Hot Spring: Now on Steam! I mean, wait. Hot Spring now
- has* steam. Like, steam particles. Yeah.
- Dark Matter was appearing in chests, and it's not supposed to. I mean, it's Spirit Poop. Did they poop in the chest? How? Why??? Anyway, it doesn't appear in chests anymore.
"Dress your Fishbo warmly," says @MessyZandrewbert. But does a Fishbo globe wear a scarf like this, or like this?

That was Mr Morris singing a rather beautiful cat rendition of "O Holy Night". Except, well, in cat-language, the lyrics are very different. They're mostly about kibble.
