New patch coming soon for bug fixes and game balance adjustment

Thank you for playing and supporting "Goonya Monster".

We are getting many reports of problems and requests after the game has been released.
We apologize again for the inconvenience caused by those issues.

We are reading all of the messages from you. We are going to do our best to improve the game to deliver a more fun experience with Goonya Monster.

We would like to announce that there is a patch scheduled to be released soon.
The patch will fix the following issues and balance adjustment below and many more.

・The bug that prevents keyboard/mouse operation on the Steam platform will be fixed.
→The game will automatically set the control mode to mouse and keyboard or gamepad depending on which interface you use on the title screen.

・The bug that causes an error when matching in Episode Match.

We are also testing the global matching feature as well.

We will continue to develop "Goonya Monster" to improve more based on the feedback we receive.
We are planning to continue to have other events for everyone's enjoyment in the future. Please stay tuned.

Update for the reported issue of the Digital DX edition bonus

For those who bought the Digital DX edition,

The reported problem that players could not get the bonus of Soul Coins and Soul Gems even though they bought the Digital DX edition has been fixed.

We are ready to send you the rewards.
But the instructions will be different depending on when you bought the DX edition.
Please check when you bought it and follow the right instruction below to receive them.

〇Bought the DX edition before December 6th(9:00 AM JST)
1. Open the detail page of the bundle from the link below
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/28805/_DX/
2. Click on 「Add to Account」 button on the lower part of the page with bundle information
3. Launch Goonya Monster from Steam
4. A notification will show up in the main menu and you will automatically receive the items

〇Bought the DX edition after December 6th(9:00 AM JST)
1. Launch the game from Steam after December 12 (9:00 AM JST)
2. A notification will show up in the main menu and you will automatically receive the items

Regarding the phenomenon of not being able to sync saved data to the Steam cloud

Eligible Customers
-Customers who have launched and played on Steam prior to December 8, 2012 (17:20 JST)

We have confirmed that save data was not syncing properly to the Steam Cloud.
The issue has been fixed and the following steps will ensure that your save data is synced properly.
(1) Restart the Steam application.
(2) Launch the game.
(3) Exit the game

How to check if data has been saved to the cloud
①Display the Steam Cloud from the following URL
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
2) Find "Gunya Monster" from the list and display the file.
(3) You can check the data in the file.

Regarding the reported issue of the Digital DX edition bonus

For those who bought the Digital DX edition,

We are getting reports that players could not get the bonus rewards of Soul Coins and Soul Gems even though they bought the Digital DX edition.

We have released a DLC to cover that problem on December 6th at 9:00 AM JST.
However, we are still experiencing a situation in which eligible customers are unable to receive the product.

We are investigating the cause of the problem. We will inform you as soon as we figure out when we can provide the rewards properly.

We apologize for the inconvenience it caused users who have been looking forward to it.
We will do our best to deliver them as soon as possible.

Future plans to resolve issues that have arisen

The development team is working to correct the following phenomena that are currently occurring
1: Some of the Steam version DX edition benefits are not included.
2: The keyboard and mouse do not respond in some environments in the Steam version.
3: Network errors sometimes occur in the matching process.

The first issue is scheduled to be distributed on December 6 (9:00 JST) and is being coordinated.
The patches to fix 2 and 3 will be released on December 20 (JST).


In addition, we are still investigating the cause of the following phenomena.
- Graphics card dependent glitches that render gameplay impossible.

We are aware of all the feedback we receive through social networking sites and the community.
We are working hard to improve the playing environment, not only with patches, but also with overall game balance adjustments.
We will make every effort to improve the game play environment.

Since the release of the game, we have received more feedback from many people than we had expected, and the entire staff is very proud of the response.
There may be many things we haven't done well, but we will continue to strive for a better experience for everyone.
