He inhabits one of the regions of the mystic world, a character as mysterious as the universe he lives in, this is the Pajé, the new character of Gaucho and the Grassland.

After driving the Boitatá away from the grasslands, the player gains access to the mystic world, where he finds the Pajé, the manifestation of a local entity that lives in a magical place.

Even without a direct relationship with other characters in the village, this character has a special mission for the player, with the main objective being to help him.

Character's dwelling

The Pajé has an important item that has disappeared, so he needs the player's help to find it, and as soon as the mysterious item is found a reward is granted, both to the player and to the whole world.

It is up to the player to interact with the character or not, but it is important to remember that each interaction has different consequences.

Legend has it that in a cave in the middle of the forest lived an ancient chief with his daughter, Yari. However, with the approaching old age, there was also a concern: who would be his successor in the tribe, since he had only one female daughter?

For this, the former chief ended up choosing the most handsome and tall of the native people of his tribe, the same one with whom Yari was in love. However, with a noble attitude, Yari ended up not getting married, staying by the side of her old father, since if she got married, she should leave with her husband wherever he went.

One day an old Pajé arrived at the tribe and saw Yari's sadness for having left her great love and ended up asking her what would be her wish so that she could be happy again, and the girl promptly replied that her request was for the Pajé to give strength to her father.

Promptly, the Pajé who was sent by Tupã grabbed a leaf and gave it to the chief, so that he could make a drink and recover his strength. Immediately after drinking it, the chief regained his strength, and was able to accompany his tribe for a much longer time.

Yari was then transformed into a Goddess whose task was to teach humanity to cultivate the plant and live in peace.

That is why, today, yerba mate is a symbol of fraternity and peaceful coexistence among human beings and is still shared among all.

The new NPCs of Gaucho and the Grassland have arrived and with them came several other news. In addition to the new characters, it is now possible to give a unique name to your own village that will be displayed in a beautiful portico at the entrance of it.

Everything starts after the victory against Boitatá in the mysterious zone, thus starting a new mission: to help the new characters settle in the village of the region that is founded right after the duel.

Now the player has the mission to build and furnish houses for these new characters and thus receive their gratitude and some rewards from them, including several exclusive resources available only in this area of the game.



This new area was created so that the player's experience would not end just with the victory in the duel against Boitatá, and as the village is filled with houses and establishments, it is possible to collect economy ingredients at each given period in a chest, being almost like a long-term investment.

The world of Gaucho and the Grassland has some NPCs, that is, the famous non-playable characters, those that are placed in the game for immersion, but are not possible to control, even if some of them can interact in some way as is the case of Negrinho do Pastoreio (Shepherd Boy), Salesman, professional NPCs and those who live in the villages.

Negrinho do Pastoreio (Shepherd Boy) is the character responsible for giving tips on how to enter and what to do in the mystic world, while the Salesman helps you buy new lands to advance and build the farm of your dreams, making it bigger and bigger.

The blacksmith: responsible for forging materials and making tools to help in the collection of raw materials;

The NPCs were created to assist the player in receiving missions to gain resources for the village's growth, assist in the construction of houses and decorations from scratch for future residents and create a professional workshop to use the service as that of the blacksmith, for example.

All customization updates made in a game are as important as the original version created at the beginning. During this period, we have a lot of meetings and a lot of questions are asked, all to reach a consensus: is this update worth the effort? Will people like and identify with it? Are the animals and characters more attractive this way?

The character customization updates were mainly created so that the player can feel as represented as possible in several aspects, thus creating an avatar that suits them best.



As for the horse and dog customizations, they were designed to more closely resemble the pets that the player may have, or a good childhood memory of horses on a farm.



Each of these processes can be redone hundreds of times, and it turns out to be a constant challenge until each of these steps reach the final version and is ready to be added on the game.
