📢 Lizz Watson Changes (minor spoilers ahead)
We always strive to provide the best gaming experience possible. One area where we heard your feedback loud and clear was the final boss encounter with Lizz Watson. Many players found this fight to be exceptionally challenging and, at times, unfair.

In response to your input, we've made some general changes to the Lizz Watson boss encounter. However, we want to ensure that experienced players still find a proper challenge, especially on the higher difficulty tiers. Therefore, most of these adjustments primarily impact the lower crisis levels, striking a balance between accessibility and maintaining the challenge for our veteran players.

 • HP reduced based on Crisis Level and Form (formerly 14k/14k, now VR-O: 12/6, DD: 13/10, N: 14/14)
 • Tweaked additional enemies' composition and spawn times (scales with difficulty)
 • Improved weak spot collision detection
 • Lizz exits invisibility upon using any attack ability
 • Lizz spawns only one turret at a time
 • Added damage indicators for special abilities
 • Slowed down slash projectiles (scales with difficulty)
 • Fixed Alt+Tab freeze during the second form cutscene

Thomas Crusher

CSA Executive Director

CSA001MAJIC

A veteran intelligence operator, and father of the CSA. Crusher spent his early years in the field, operating in shadows, fighting terror, intercepting international transactions, and realizing the obsolescence of the Fed.

The enemies of the US were not terrorists, communists, or cartels anymore. Threats became internal, with megacorps controlling criminal and terrorist activity.

He spent recent years as a security advisor whilst lobbying for the CSA’s existence. Crusher has agency to work as he sees fit without repercussion - as long as he shows results.

And the key to CSA's results is of course you, Agent. Results you have to show not just against rank and file enemies, but some of the most dangerous weaponized corporate assets in existence. Luckily it's people like Thomas Crusher who have got your back in your fight against the megacorps!

Did Crusher give you a tough challenge, Agent? We're curious to know if the CSA crew came in handy during your battle. Share your thoughts and impressions in the comments!

Bosses of Deadlink - Lizz Watson

If you made it this far you know CEO Lizz Watson brings more than her stunning good looks to the fight. Time to take a look at the pinnacle of your foes, Agents!

Lizz Watson

Femto CEO

FMT-SB000

"This bitch slays!" reads her bio, plastered across the net, and don't worry, you've seen her on TV too. Magna cum laude at Princeton, and a complete princess, she knew what she wanted. Femto was her chance at grabbing onto the C-Balls of "nerds" and "losers". She took their flagship products and wrapped them in PR speak, spinning the investors around her finger and breaking the noses of those who broke NDA.

Of course, investments don't run on lies alone. C-Balls were cool, but a nano-company needs something even more nano than her wasp waist. She is not only a role model and a fashion model, but the main model, the prototype of what humanity can be. Of course, she won't mention the stolen patents or the off-the-shelf parts.

Lizz may have won many battles by outpatenting her competition and keeping the proper spin with clever PR, but in a fight she's the real deal. No matter which Combat Shell you're packing, Lizz Watson will be a challenging opponent.

Femto's nanotechnology is more than a gimmick, and in combat with the CEO you'll find her bringing facsimiles of your abilities. That means you're in for a contest of skill and a test of all that you've learned in the many simulations that brought you here.

How did your encounter with CEO Watson go? Did you find out which of you slays harder? Feel free to share the results of your encounter and all the juicy combat experience you've gained in the comments.

P.S. Agents, we'd like to express our gratitude for all your previous feedback about Lizz. We hear you and we've seen your concerns about her difficulty and general enjoyability in combat. We're addressing this with balance adjustments to enhance the fun factor – rest assured, we're actively working on it.

Bosses of Deadlink - Trinary Iskra

You could say that Trinary Iskra took its appointment as Interport's CEO well. Just look at the peak efficiency Interport has been operating at! Sadly the AI is not only mad with power, but armed to project that power at you.

Trinary Iskra

Chief Executive Officer AI

IPN-MB000

Ever-increasing profits and efficiency led Interport to appoint an AI as CEO. AIs aren’t new for corporations, advising countless cutthroat decisions and market strategies, but this was quite bold.

Interport’s limitless resources created an engineering marvel, built with trinary logic, a Soviet concept unexplored since the domination of binary computing. It was named “Iskra”, referencing the gnostic divine spark. Capable of near-prescience without Turing registry supervision.

Warehouses network – each one housing semi-autonomous cores syncing frequently. It’s speculated cores are fully conscious, practically limitless, and developing delusions of godhood.

Iskra is a massive foe with a massive ego and a massive arsenal. While its divinity complex might be a delusion, it is truly a master of saturating its environment with death.

Your greatest challenge in this fight will be to avoid Iskra's attacks. Always stay aware of your surroundings! Dodging is crucial, but if you don't keep an eye on your dash charges you might just trap yourself in the middle of one of several highly damaging attacks. And keep in mind - each stage of Iskra has its own weak spot that guarantees critical damage if shot directly.

Have you toppled a god, Agent? Do you have any tips, tricks or war stories to share? Head to the comments and let everyone know!
