You can skip a scene if you have seen it already (keep in mind that since it's just implemented, the game doesn't know what you have seen up to this date). Some scenes are unskippable (scenes with choices mostly).

If a scene is skippable you'll see the icon at the top right corner.

The game auto saves only at the map area only now (and when you enter poker or roulette mini-game). You'll see a message when it happens.

You can ride your girlfriend on a bicycle. Bicycles were added to most city streets, more to come in the upcoming days.

You can dance with your woman at disco.

You can skip beginning scenes up to 2nd week on your 2nd playthrough, if you have cleared battle tutorial.
