  • Town Building [Cartographer] Lv85+ is now available! It will unlock a new region [Unicorn Island]!
  • New equipment effect type [Pure]
    • Unicorn Unique Equipment has [Pure] effects, which are cyan colored. It's a new multiplier in stat breakdown as [Equipment (Pure)] apart from [Equipment].
    • [Pure] effect is NOT affected by [Equipment Effect] stat. However, forging anvil effects such as [Effect Increment per Level] are active.
    • Unicorns have a chance to drop [Pure] enchants as well.
  • Unicorn levels can get really high, so enchantments that couldn't drop before can now be farmed.

[h3]Guild Advisor[/h3]
  • Guild Advisor is a new tutorial feature for new players! It will show up only for a new save that is created after the full release (this patch).
  • Every time you unlock one of Guild Advisor Tips, you’ll receive 500 Epic Coins.
  • Note: Epic Coins can only be earned on save data created after the Full Release in January 2025.
  • If you perform a hard reset from the Settings tab and unlock the Guild Advisor with a new save, you will earn Epic Coins on your current save data each time you unlock a new Guild Advisor tip.
  • Note: Before performing a hard reset, make sure to export your current save data. By importing the exported file, you can return to your current save data at any time.
  • You can read all the texts you unlocked so far in Help > Guild Advisor. (If your save is created before the full release, all the texts are unlocked.)

[h3]Offline Bonus Revamp[/h3]
  • Passive Offline Bonus now includes "Skill Trigger #", "Common Loot" and "Monster Defeated #"
  • Passive Offline Bonus is now more accurate. It was about 85% efficiency previously, but now 95%+ for active hero progression.
  • You can now get more nitro from the Nitro Offline Bonus. (Now 100% efficient.)
    • Previous: 1 Nitro is gained per 2 offline seconds.
    • Now: 1 Nitro is gained per offline second.

[h3]Balance&Changes[/h3]
  • The base Nitro Cap is now 10,000 (It was 5,000 previously)
  • Increased the Nitro amount of Global Quests reward
  • You can now earn more Epic Coin from Daily Quest [Epic Coin 1-4]!
    • Previous: [100EC, 150EC, 200EC, 300EC, 500EC]
    • Now: [200EC, 250EC, 350EC, 500EC, 1000EC] (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Epic)
  • Decreased the requirement of Daily Quest
    • Defeat mobs: Prev[10, 20, 30, 50, 100] - Now[5, 10, 20, 30, 50]
    • Capture mobs: Prev[1, 3, 5, 10, 30] - Now[1, 3, 5, 10, 20]
    • Clear areas: Prev[1, 5, 10, 20, 50] - Now [1, 3, 5, 10, 30]
  • Reduce the Mana Seed requirement to rank [Statue of Heroes Rank 2 (5->3)] [Alchemist's Hut Rank 2 (5->3)] [Temple Rank 1 (20->5)]
  • The minimum damage dealt to monsters is now set to 0.1. This change allows you to defeat Metal Slimes in dungeons at the early game.
  • Swarm Score 500 reward now gives 5 Portal Orbs (previously 1 Portal Orb)
  • The completion requirements for WA Accomplishments have been adjusted: "8 hours" has been changed to "6 hours," and "3 hours" has been changed to "2 hours." These changes were made due to the significant improvements in early-to-mid-game progression speed introduced in the previous and current major updates. If you had already achieved these accomplishments prior to this update, they will remain unlocked even after the update.
  • Removed quick access of Pet QoLs of Normal/Yellow/Red Slime and Red Fairy in the battle screen. Instead, Normal Spider and Blue Fairy are now always there.
  • Increased the effect of Title [Proof of Rebirth] Lv 3 (55% -> 60%)
  • Increased the Hero Level/Grade cap from 1000 to 2000
  • Some of the skill passive effect [Double Capture Chance] are now replaced to [Triple Capture Chance]
  • Reorganized the stats in Ability tab
  • In the areas where you input values like Multi-buy or Auto Area Progression, you can now use formats like "1M", "1.23B", "1e6", "1.23e9"
  • You can now holding Shift + click on the Auto Rebirth Tier dropdown to set for all heroes
  • Added "Total Point Gained" in Rebirth Info

[h3]Epic Store[/h3]
  • New [Full Release Support Bundle] in Bundle tab

  • You couldn't get Piece of Ruby when auto-disassembling artifacts in Super Dungeon
  • Passive hero progress speed is now more accurate
  • You could purchase more SD Ruby Shop Talismans than the open inventory
  • Other minor bugs/typos

[h2]IEH2 Full Release Event[/h2]
[h3]Time Attack Event[/h3]
  • To celebrate the full release of IEH2, we’re hosting a Time Attack event! See [Settings] > [Event] tab in game.
  • You can try the Time Attack with a new save after the IEH2 Full Release in January 2025!
  • For players using save data created before the Full Release, performing a hard reset and attempting the Time Attack will allow you to receive rewards on your current save data upon completing the Time Attack. Of course, you can also receive rewards with a new save.
  • Note: Before performing a hard reset, make sure to export your current save data. By importing the exported file, you can return to your current save data at any time.
  • This Time Attack can be attempted as many times as you want by performing a hard reset. After a hard reset, restarting the game will allow you to carry over Epic Coins, Bundles and DLC purchased with real money by using the [Restore Purchase] button in the Epic Store.
  • There is a secret code [IEH2TimeAttack]. Inputting this in Bonus Code will unlock all the tabs in Epic Store, which allows you accessing all the items in Epic Store regardless of your current game progress.
  • This Time Attack event also serves as a test for the upcoming World Ascension Tier 2. In the actual WA2, all QoL features, including Epic Store purchases and pets, will be carried over.
  • Reward: New Epic Talisman [IEH2 Full Release Commemorative Coin]

Hello everyone! I'm Hitan from Hapiwaku, IEH2 development team.

It’s been a while since I last reached out, and I apologize for that. Thank you so much for always playing IEH and supporting our work. Today, I have some important announcements to share with you:

  • In early January 2025, IEH2 will transition from Steam Early Access to a Full Release.
    • Save data will not be erased during the transition, so you can continue playing as usual.
    • After the full release, updates will continue with new endgame content and QoL improvements.
  • In March 2025, we plan to release a brand-new game from Hapiwaku, titled "Katakamuna Idle."
    • This will be the first pure creation from our family team, Hapiwaku.

As I mentioned in a previous announcement in our Discord server, I’m currently working on developing the new game. It was originally envisioned as a casual game with a straightforward design and a short development period. It has since evolved into a larger project requiring more time and effort than initially planned. The game is now scheduled for release around March of next year.

In this announcement, I want to sincerely express my gratitude to all of you and share the story behind why I’m so deeply invested in the new project.

[h2]Reflecting on Your Support and the Journey So Far[/h2]
I’m truly grateful for everyone who has been enjoying IEH, exchanging ideas in this community, and supporting us along the way. Your incredible encouragement has allowed me to live a wonderful life with my family. I cannot thank you enough for that.

Many of you have been with us since IEH1 launched in April 2020 on Kongregate. Development began in the fall of 2019 when I teamed up with Kei, whom I met during my university years. In January 2020, we released the alpha version of IEH1, and from that point on, some of the Testteam such as Ringold and Morkyl actively supported the project.

After the release of IEH1, Kei founded his own company and began working on other idle games. Over time, his involvement in IEH development gradually decreased as he focused on collaborating with other developers. In 2021, driven by my gratitude to you all the IEH fans and my desire to continue responding to your support, I decided to take the lead on developing IEH2.

The road to IEH2’s release in July 2022 was marked by significant moments in my life, including the passing of my father and the birth of my little daughter. Thanks to feedback, playtesting, and support from the Testteam and many other contributors, IEH2 became a fantastic game that continues to evolve to this day.

As some of you may know, the artwork used in IEH is created by my daughter, my wife and my sister. Together as Team Hapiwaku, we place importance not only on visible elements but also on the unseen energy infused into our creations. We’ve always strived to instill “happiness,” “excitement,” and “joy” into our work as positive, radiant energy. Our hope is that players of IEH2 feel this energy and experience richer, happier lives.

[h2]IEH2’s Future and the Challenges We Face[/h2]
I’m incredibly thankful that the IEH2 player base continues to grow every day. Your heartfelt support motivates me to keep updating the game, making it bigger, deeper, and more enjoyable. However, I must admit there have been times when my motivation wavered, leading to long gaps between updates. For that, I sincerely apologize.

To tell the truth, one significant factor behind my struggles with motivation has been the issue of IEH2’s intellectual property rights. I wasn't sure if I should talk about this here, since it is not directly relevant to those of you who genuinely enjoy IEH2. But I believe it’s important to share my honest thoughts with you.

Due to the rights contract, IEH2 is not technically considered Hapiwaku property, despite the deep love and care my family and I have poured into its development. This has imposed certain limitations. For instance, the artwork created by my daughter and some game mechanics unique to IEH cannot be freely used in other projects without permission from the rights holder, Kei.
That said, I’m deeply grateful to Kei for all the support he provided during IEH1’s development. He taught me the fundamentals of programming and contributed significantly to the creation of many game mechanics in IEH1, laying the foundation for my career in game development.

We had several discussions about the rights to allow IEH to expand its potential more freely and to align with my motivation, both for the game's future and for its fans. After much deliberation, however, I understand and respect Kei’s decision to retain those rights.

[h2]Why We’re Creating a New Game[/h2]
Balancing my gratitude for IEH fans and my desire to create a purely Hapiwaku project has been a constant struggle. After much thought, I decided this summer to take a bold step forward by developing a new game under Hapiwaku that reflects our family’s passion and vision.
If you're not familiar with the meaning of Hapiwaku, "hapi" stands for "happy," and "waku" comes from the Japanese word "wakuwaku," which means "excitement." At Hapiwaku, our goal is to spread happiness and excitement to people all around the world 🙂

What began as a casual project has grown into something far more meaningful—a heartfelt masterpiece that serves as a new milestone for Hapiwaku. Extending the development period was a necessary decision to ensure this new game embodies the love and care we’ve always aspired to deliver.

To all IEH fans eagerly awaiting new content, I deeply understand your feelings. I promise that once this new game is successfully launched and Hapiwaku is firmly established, I will continue updating IEH2 with fresh content and improvements.

[h2]Upcoming Changes for IEH2[/h2]
We have decided that we will transition IEH2 from Early Access to a Full Release in January 2025. At that time we will focus on improvements for new players, such as refining the tutorial and enhancing offline bonuses. To clarify, early access save data will remain intact, and players can continue their progress without issues.

Like you all, I love IEH2 like my own child. We will continue to add end content at the best time, improve the QoL, and make sure this game is truly complete!
To be honest, the extended development period for the new game has put a financial strain on me. It’s entirely uncertain how many new players we can expect to join with the full release, but even a small increase in new players could help reinvigorate the community, boost my motivation, and serve as a valuable opportunity to advance IEH2’s development.
The full release in January is just a passing phase. I wanted to share this feeling with you all in the truest sense of the word, so I have told you all the details as they are.

In the Advanced Mode, all monsters turn into Montblango (Monty). The damage you can inflict is greatly reduced by the Log10 modifier. When you clear an area, that area will be marked as Kawaii Monty.
You can then enter the bonus code [IEH2RegularMode] to receive [Kawaii Monty] x 100 Epic Coins! Please give it a try! There is no deadline for this event. These bonus codes can be used as many times as you like and you can try this event at any time!


Montblango (Monty) is a special monster from IEH1 and is the gate of Reincarnation in IEH1. In IEH2 it will appear in the "Ultimate Trial" to be added in the next update! Stay tuned!

This is Hitan from Hapiwaku IEH2 development team. Thank you as always for your support :)

We are excited to announce the release of A major update [ver. 1.3.1.1]! In this update, we have significantly improved the progression from early to late game stages. Especially for new players, the pace of progression in the early stages has dramatically improved, Making the game more enjoyable and easier to understand with tutorials on how to play!

Thanks to Kazuya, one of the top players of IEH2 who joined the development team last month, we have implemented various QoL features in this update. We believe that we will be able to continue to deliver continuous updates more quickly in the future :D

Starting from this update, we will also hold the limited-time sale on the Epic Store. Items in the Ambition 1-3 tab will be discounted by 10% until April 8th!
