During this period you will be able to play the Demo of Pets Hotel for free. This will be a great opportunity to gather your opinions about the game and make the final product even better.

You don't have to do anything to participate in Steam Next Fest October 2022 Edition. All you have to do is visit the Pets Hotel Steam page during the festival and there will be a green banner with the ability to play our demo!

[h3]Today we want to tell you about a very unusual aspect of our game, which is Weather Change. ☀️☁️🌧️[/h3]

Yes, during your game you will have another challenge to face!

Changing weather conditions implemented into our game was quite a programming challenge for us, as we wanted to give you not only a great visual experience but also additional gameplay elements.

In the end, we succeeded, and all your pet hotel guests will react to the changing weather!

[h3]The following weather conditions will appear in the game:[/h3]

🌤️ Partly cloudy
☁️ Cloudiness
🌫️ Fog
🌧️ Rain
⛈️ Storm[/h3]



From now on, you will have to pay attention to the behavior, needs, fears and preferences of your guests in your pet hotel.

During sunny ☀️ weather, pets will be raring to go for a walk, while during cloudy ☁️ days they will be less eager to joyfully jump on the lawn after a ball.





In addition, you have to remember that some pets really like jumping in puddles in the rain and others won't stick their noses out on the threshold of the hotel ;)





You will need special care for those guests of the pet hotel who are panically afraid of thunderstorms! ⛈️





Remember that all pets in our hotel temporarily and have their beloved owners, who will be very scrupulous to check how their pet is doing and whether it received proper care and attention during its stay with you.

Today we would like to introduce you to one of the most complicated mechanics in the Pest Hotel game, in addition to the title care for pets - building.

We know that each of you would like to have the greatest impact on the interior of animal rooms, the layout of the lobby or gardens for walking with your pupils, so we decided to give you absolute design freedom - build and create your own unique space! 🤩

You will start building on a specific map that you will be able to fill at your own discretion. We plan for it to be optimized so that it does not give the filling of a huge space, and at the same time does not limit your possibilities too much.

Ultimately, it will be up to you where to put the wall, what color will you paint it, and how many windows your social room will have! ;)



In addition, the database of facilities will include plants, garden ornaments, walkways on which your clients will walk and many other amazing accessories that will beautify the area around the hotel.

However, if you do not spend too much time building a hotel from scratch, and instead prefer to immediately deal with the fees described in the previous devlog - you can use the building we have prepared. It will have all the required rooms and a place to put a little more toys, because there are never too many of them :)



We prepare the interface in such a way that it is as readable and intuitive as possible - that is. as pleasant as possible for our beloved players, but as always we are very open to any suggestions.

We have some compelling news from game progress development to share with You! In the last devlog we guided You around the hotel, where you had a chance to see a few rooms that you can find in the game. But there's some residents to fill your hotel!

As a player you will be able to take after pets, some of them are tiny, others much bigger and in today’s devlog you will meet your future residents! Let’s check what kind of guests you will have at your hotel.

Each of them will have their own needs that you will need to take care of during their stay at your pet hotel. So, today you will meet 🐠 Casey, 🐢 Shamus, 🐰 Matilda, 🐶 Brandy and 😺 Gracie.

[h2]So let’s meet new friends![/h2]
Firstly, we have an honour to introduce species of fish, like 🐠 Casey, you will take care of in the aquarium! Casey loves a clean aquarium, so keep it clean at all times.


Secondly, please meet 🐢 Shamus, a little gorgeous turtle, which lives in a tremendous pen. It is such a sweet animal, isn’t it? Look at Shamus, it tries to run the fastest it can to share some love with you! Let's feed it with insects to make it happy!


The third little sweet pet is 🐰 Matilda, a bunny loves when You feed it with carrots. It will take a special place in your heart, when You look after it. Do not dare to feed her with bread and sweets, because it can cause a stomachache!


The fourth animal You can take care of is a dog. Therefore 🐶 Brandy, such a sweet boy, can proudly represent its species as a little cute pug dog! It loves running in favour of the ball you have already thrown up. You have to think about placing your sweets, that cute puppy will make them disappear!


Who’s lurking about the toy? Yes, it’s 😺 Gracie’s mischievous little kitty! Just waiting to make a quick jump to catch those interesting feathers. This kitten, just like everyone else, loves to play hunting. The best way to keep Gracie happy is to play as often as possible!


Remember, no matter what a pet will come under your wings - you will have to learn about its habits, give it an incredible amount of tenderness, interest and understanding so that it will return to its owners as after a holiday.

RECEPTION 🛎️ is the heart of our pet hotel, where most things happen. From here we can learn everything, it is like a real command center for the entire hotel.
