Dev Update #12 - Animal frenzy, New Gameplay, Floating Islands and more…
We’re basically flying in the clouds with Ragna from excitement to show you this update! 🌠

News, news and NEWS once more! We’ve got so many things to share with you that it’s hard to choose where to start. ⭐ Get ready for the new update! ⭐
[h3]Oh, what a beautiful… what was it called again?[/h3]
Who doesn’t love animals! 🐻 Big and small, furry or scaly, friendly and dangerous too! And what’s better than discovering new species? That’s exactly what’s happening in our studio right now - we’re on the lookout for creatures that the human and dwarven eye has never seen before. 👀
Here we can see this little fella. Very cute, isn’t it? But watch out! The tail looks suspicious… and can be hard to spot in the bushes. 🌿
Not scared of the sharp tail? Well, look here. This big boy might be a bigger challenge. What challenge you may ask? 🤔 Well, in case it attacks you, that is… But it wouldn't do that! Maybe its horn is designed to open up ripe fruits laying on the ground and not helpless dwarves. Let’s hope for the best.
This one looks a little more friendly. Hawk? Tiger? Bear? You decide, we’re still thinking about that.
As you can see, evil lurks even for such cute animals, hence the weird purple discoloration…
But don’t worry! If the animal gets tainted, we can make a potion or item for them. Some will need different treatment than others. Also, different species will give us special items for saving them or their nests as a token of gratitude! Those items can be used for crafting special upgrades for us or our buildings.
If you have any name ideas for these new species, feel free to share them with us in the comments! And don’t try to look for these animals in any encyclopedia, trust us, we’ve been there.

But Hey! We’re not reinventing the wheel with the next creature. Good ol’ dragon! Ragna surely isn’t the only one of her kind, right? Are they as helpful and cool as our sweet-voiced friend, though… that's unknown.
We’re also trying out different color palettes!
But living species are not the only thing we have new concepts of. Here you can take a look at the destroyed ancient Escoim mana well, not just a regular one that you can build! It’s a crucial part of one of the island quests and an insight into the Driftland lore.
Now you may think. So many animals, what is this… Pet Simulator game? Well, no. But what if?...

But in all seriousness, recently we’ve been upgrading all the islands and adding all the little details to them, so you’ll have a lot of wonderful experiences on each of them.
