It's Friday, and not just any Friday, it's a PUBLIC RELEASE Friday! That means that EVERYONE gets to play the new public release!

If that wasn't exciting enough, we're also running a cross promotion with Llamagirl's Bastard of Camelot. We've added a new unique portrait of Galahad, one of the LI's in Bastard of Camelot and Llamagirl also created a small little short story for her fans where Merlin speaks of the things he sees in the future. (Spoiler Alert: He sees Infinite Stars!)

The Bastard of Camelot is a text-based interactive story wherein you play the infamous Mordred of Arthurian myths, born under an ominous prophecy heralding them as the undoing of Camelot. The player has the opportunity to shape Mordred - from personality to gender to appearance - as they grow up as a squire and become a Knight of the Round Table at King Arthur's Court. Embrace the prophecy, or try to defy it!

In addition to the cross promotion, I've also switched the Patreon billing service to subscription based, meaning if you sign up on the 15th, you get billed on the 15th of each month! That means you can now sign up to be a Patreon on the 29th of the month without worrying about being billed again on the 1st! (Existing Patrons aren't affected
I've also enabled Patreon Trials for our promotion with Llamagirl, meaning you can now try 7 days of patronage for free! It's currently on the Lieutenant tier, and depending on the results we'll either discontinue the trial entirely or downgrade the access to the Ensign tier once the promotion concludes.

Now, on to Infinite Stars! We've been hard at work, with a lot of new story content dropping soon. Sadly, there isn't too much new Patreon content from last week's update to show yet, but stick around! The new build does however include three new portraits for your MC, and we can share a small teaser of some of the new crew members you'll meet soon! (The new Public build has a lot more content that Patrons have already seen, with more coming soon!)



Our Patrons have voted and the polls have closed, with a new NSFW shower scene with Commander Lochem being added to the game soon. The new poll cycle will start on Monday, where you can choose which scene we should work on next! As a side note, this is in addition to the usual content we're adding each month.

We'll also share the newest surprise pinup next week. (Alright, it's Khalil. A very VERY sexy Khalil! So don't go anywhere!)

Devlog 2023-05-26

Friday! We made it to another Friday! (Phew)

Baby is healthy and happy (writing this post from the hospital as we wait for the paediatrician visit, and I'll upload and post it a little later today.)

NGL, it's been tough, but not as tough as I expected. I haven't gotten as much work done as I would've liked, but we still got stuff done. The power cuts haven't helped, and it's the main reason why I still have to do some testing. We'll get to that shortly. Last complaint before getting to the weekly progress: I miss hot coffee, mostly because I'll make a cup and then fuss over the little one, and then the power is off and my coffee is cold. Whelp.

Now! The main feature! I implemented the new Shuttle BG that Stoffies drew, and it looks gorgeous! Look! Behold, and see that I do not lie!

I ALSO implemented the new MedSec BG from Stoffies, and we used the opportunity to add some extras. Kiaria now has an actual workstation! And we have a little X-Ray corner. We have plans to add some minor animations to the MedAssist drones, but that will come in time.

If that wasn't enough, my sleep deprived self managed to implement the first ever nsfw MxM content in Khalil's corridor scene. I haven't gotten around to testing it yet (at time of writing) but if all goes according to plan, it should be ready to go by the time I post this devlog.

We've also been continuing to write and polish the other scenes I mentioned last week, and I'm hoping that we'll have some of them ready for our next public release on the 2nd of July.

Devlog 2023-05-20

It's Friday! (OK, it's not but give me a second!)

It's been a crazy few days, mostly because our firstborn was– well– born. We brought her home on Friday, and while the intention was to do a devlog yesterday, there just wasn't enough time. (Instead I'm now writing one while she is sleeping on my chest.)

I've been prepping Infinite Stars for her arrival over the last few months, as I didn't want to lose the momentum we had gained until now. Stoffies and Tae are happily drawing away, making good progress. The additional writer has been such a blessing! Two heads are better than one, and I wish I had had the budget from the beginning!

On to actual progress:
  • Medsec BG is almost done. It's taking longer than usual, but I've seen the WiP artwork, and it'll be worth the wait.
  • Tae has been working on the character art for Andreas (and a few more crew members.) I know sexy is subjective, but I think some of the ladies (and gents) are going to swoon over him.
  • We're working on the possibility to include little artwork pop-ups in the game for key items. I don't want to say much more until everything is confirmed and finalised, but it is looking promising.


On the writing side (phew!):
  • We're getting the first ever MxM content, starting with Khalil's intimate scene.
  • We've earnestly started working in Veera's romance arc/scenes.
  • We've finished a flirting scene with Lochem, a precursor that will probably lead to his intimate scene which is still being polled. (If you haven't voted yet, you should do so! Anyone can vote.)
  • Some fluff scenes where you can play some "Liridian" with Matthias.
  • Some "empty room" content (like Aeroponics and Medsec) for the Gym.
  • A short just for fun, non canon scene illustrated by Stoffies and named "Dirty Khalil."


As you can see, even though I've had to step back for a bit, we're still making tons of progress. I'm hoping to have the content coded and ready for a Patreon release on the 26th, followed by our next public release on the 2nd of June.

Friday, yet again! Whoop whoop!

May is promising to be very productive so far!

I'm in a bit of a bind. We've been working on some stuff that I am unable to share, but VERY excited about! I know it's kind of pointless mentioning it if I can't show it to you yet, but again, I'm so excited I just had to tell someone!

Here are some things I can report on:






  • Tae has been working on some more portraits and an extra small surprise for our Patrons, so keep an eye out for it!





  • I've added a new engineering free-roam scene, started adding some of Kiaria's 'empty scenes' like Lebeny's flowers (There is a LOT of them), worked on a few more scenes, and overhauled the engineering background and added the new Drop-Dron background. (Today's new Patreon build with this content is here: Win|Mac|PC or Android - We'll have another free, public release for everyone closer to end of this month.)





  • We're also working on a login component that will allow Patreons to access their patreon in-game content without having to download the Patreon version each time.

Devlog 2023-04-28

It's Friday!

I'm technically on leave from yesterday until Tuesday, but I've slipped away to put some time in to get the build ready for today!

It's mostly additional graphics and the odd bug fix. We added some more awesome portraits to the game (You have all the awesome Patrons that pledge on the Captain tier to thank for the portraits, as each Captain gets to add their own custom MC portrait to the game!)



These portraits are now showing up during dialogue scenes whenever your MC speaks. The expressions are static and don't change. I don't have any plans to change this right now, but perhaps we can revisit the idea down the line.

We also added the new animated personal quarters to the game, with additional colour variations for different NPC's (You can see some of them at the start of Episode 2, with the distinction between Veera and Mayvheen's rooms, depending on which choices you made during Episode 1)



(If your Mah'Abeu is a tidy person, they'll make their bed in the mornings.)

I've been putting some contingencies in place for next month, (I'll probably be taking a few weeks off when my daughter is born.) From May, Tae will be drawing a few more extra characters for us every month, and you can also look forward to the very first pin-up design!

We're also starting our weekly polls from next month where Patrons can have more say on what content we'll be adding to the game each month.

To make up for my taking a break, (I'll still be around probably, just less consistently, for shorter amounts of time, and weirder hours), I've been searching for additional writers. It's been a tiresome process, but with the final round of interviews finishing up next week, I'm starting to see some progress. The intention is to have the additional writers stick around so I can add more content on a consistent schedule. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to add an additional 10-20K+ words of content each month if not more, so stick around!
