Westwood Shadows: Prologue News

-Fixed flashlight sound when trying to use the UV and the flashlight is off.
-Fixed graphics settings menu where the "apply new settings" button would show up anytime. Now it appears only when changes have been made in the existing settings.
- Fixed issue where the player could interact through walls with items.
- Level design updates

Known issues :
Post prosses may blur graphics on the main menu screen when quality is set to epic.

In this patch, we have redesigned the way the flashlight works.

- From now on when the flashlight runs out of battery and the player has no extra batteries to reload, there is an emergency mode which allows the player to turn on the flashlight for a limited time. The light might flicker and have lower intensity but it is enough to navigate and search for more batteries.

- The original intensity, duration, and cone angle of the flashlight have been increased for better and longer lighting time.

- The batteries and save coins around the playable areas have been increased.

- There are now save phones near all the puzzles so the player can pause and save the progress.

We are in the process of making tutorials for the new system as well as some extra tweaks.

In this patch we have fixed some major issues with the settings of the game. Previously when the player changed some specific settings the game would become blurry. This is now totally fixed.

We have also added a brightness set on the first time the player is launching the game in order to make sure the game shows as intended.

So far we still have some tasks of the previous list we published. We focused on bugs and errors this time.

• A section under the game menu will be added which will include all tutorials.
  
• A tutorial on how to unlock doors by using the keys from the inventory will be added.
  
• An indication for the remaining battery of the flashlight will be added.
  
• The player will be able to close all menus by pressing ESC.
  
• Controller functionality is still under development.
  
• Announced languages will be added in a patch close to the game's completion.
  
• Some of the settings in-game are disabled. They will be completed in one of the following patches.
  
• Steam Achievements will be added.
  
• Inspection of all picked-up items will be added.
  
• More interaction with the environment.

Westwood Shadows: Prologue had some downtime but now is fixed again.

Hi all,
We've updated the prologue yesterday, with a few fixes on subtitles and pre-rendered videos. Today we have a few extra changes including:

• More save coins
  
• More batteries
  
• One extra phone booth where you can save the game
  
• Some bug fixes where the player could interact with objects through walls
  
• Improved lighting in some areas
