Take a look at the trailer to find out more about the new chapter of the story before we dig into the details.

You probably still have questions. Below we will do our best to shed some light on to all the new features and explain them in detail.

Who is the Chaos Lord?

Firstly, we want to point out that chaos is not something you have to fight, you are its very essence. Thus the Lord of Chaos is the main character, for whom you will have to lead the army of the undead. Nevertheless, not everything is so obvious, no one forbids you to do good deeds, playing the role of the real evil....

We would like to limit the amount of plot details to avoid spoilers, so that's all we can reveal at this time.

List of the most significant updates

 • New campaign for the undead on behalf of Lord Chaos.
 • ANIMATION OF ALL UNITS.
 • Animation of air units (castles and pirate ships) on the global map
 • Animation of all dialog portraits.
 • Animation of castle scenes (store scene) and merchant scenes.
 • Menu animation
 • New race: Forest Spirits (with the ability to play as them in free-to-play mode).
 • New story characters (heroes)
 • Split characters into classes (warrior, assassin, support unit, rider, big guy).
 • ZONE OF CONTROL
 • UPDATED TRAINING SYSTEM (6 levels instead of 3. 3 new talent branches depending on the unit class).
 • SPIN ATTACK (with effects on evasion and damage).
 • NEW EQUIPMENT items (over 100 equipment items divided into three levels, unique items for each of the major factions, as well as items that affect the ability parameters of individual units or have an additional effect when used on the battlefield).
 • Redesigned controls

It is not a complete list, but it does cover all the major improvements.

Animations play a significant role in this list, as you can see. There have already been a few animations shown, and we're ready to present more.

A small update + demo of the new animations

Greetings, Stones Keepers!

We are currently preparing a major announcement. So stay tuned!

In terms of the small update, we decided to add the option to save during combat. This has been requested by many players. Our team decided that it is worth letting players play the game the way they want, even though this mechanic will allow "save-scumming" before each turn takes place.
Demonstration of the new animations
As we showed you last time, we have more animations ready. And we are currently focusing on adding as many animations as we can. More details will be revealed in the announcement later.
Air elemental
Portraits will also be animated

A grim tale about a village inhabited only by children!

Friends!
Greetings from the Valkyrie Initiative team.

We invite all fans of adventure games with horror elements into this grim, beautifully hand-drawn fairy tale.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2420350/_/

This story takes place in a village inhabited only by children who follow savage pagan traditions. Assume the role of a young witch named Kyrphel and experience all the hardships of witch life, discover the secrets of ancient rituals, explore the village and interact with its inhabitants.

Witchcraft, rituals, lies or sincerity - do whatever it takes, since the fate of the entire village depends on whether you succeed in the Great Ritual or not.

To celebrate the release, please watch the trailer before taking part in the Great ritual!

This project was developed by The Growing Stones, who spent two years gathering inspiration from fairy tales, myths, ancient religions, and beliefs in proud solitude.

Now that we are done with salesmanship, what is Caribbean Legend? First of all, it is more than a game, it is a unique genre.

If you have played any of Sea Dogs games before, you probably already know everything about Caribbean Legend. Read this open letter, explaining our vision and our mission, and you are good to go for your pirate raid.

If you have never played any of the Sea Dogs games before, then I must inform you that they are known for being hard, clunky, and outdated. We've improved on each of these aspects, but they still exist and they can still ruin your day. If you manage to get through them... well, welcome to the best pirate game out there. It's true; how many games do you know which have all these mechanics?

 • Combat at sea.
 • Land combat.
 • Exploration on land.
 • Global map.
 • RPG system.
 • Dialogues.
 • Companions and love interests.
 • Linear and generated quests.
 • A deep narrative with choices and consequences.
 • Loot, collectibles, and crafting.
 • Building and management.

That's right, not too many. Give Caribbean Legend a try, but be careful - if it clicks with you, you'll find yourself lost in the Golden Age of Caribbean piracy for several hundred hours.
