Stones Keeper Hotfix #6 Combat System and Balance

We bid you a good day, Commanders,

We apologize for the long silence, the enemy power is rising over the horizon, so we are working around the clock to get you all geared up for it. Once the elementals allow us we will reveal more, but for now we have some nice hotfix for you to enjoy.

Here's what has changed:

1. A new phase of the combat system is now available! Now you are able to re-arrange the characters on the battlefield before the combat begins, and set their action priority. It is available in both campaign and castle battle modes.





2. Resource and reward balance in the campaign. You will now receive more resources for your victories.

3. Building the Market no longer requires resources during the campaign. Once its blueprints are obtained, it will be available automatically in chapter 3.

4. Rather than healing your unit for 50HP each turn, Recovery Potion now heals it for 75HP.

Stones Keeper Hotfix #5

Ahoy, Guardians!

You were waiting and we are delivering, another batch of Hotfixes and Balancing changes to make the experience even smoother. All tailored thanks to your input. But enough words here is the changelog for today's update:

Changelog:

Balancing

- Complete overhaul of the balancing on the first difficulty level. Changes affect the majority of the missions.

UI/UX

- The "Save" button has been removed from the "Save and Load" pause menu. To prevent erroneous overwriting of save files when the player is defeated on the global map.

Stones Keeper Hotfix #4 Balancing

Hello, Brave Wanderers

Another hotfix is coming to address some of the issues we discovered and improve your gameplay experience. Without further ado, allow us to present the changes:

Base difficulty Balancing fixes:

- Enemy units' base damage and health are reduced by 10%
- Victory rewards have been increased by 25%

Interface fixes:

- The turn order icons now indicate which unit they correspond to on the battlefield, and when pressed, you can view the character description

Stones Keeper Hotfix #3 Polishing and balancing has arrived!

Glory to the Order of the Griffin, Acolytes!

We are pleased to announce another round of fixes and updates based on comments from the community. All of the helpful ideas we receive from the community are implemented by our developers around the clock. Testing and polishing takes time but we are finally happy to present you with the Hotfix#2.

General

- Buffs and debuffs have been added to the character description window. There is a new tab there now. The mini-icons will remain for now, until we receive more feedback from players.



- The Blood Bond ability of the vampire has been fixed. The visual effect will now indicate which target was affected.



- The character buttons in the castle menu now display a description window with the character's current characteristics when clicked.

Base difficulty balance

- Enemy units attack the paladin and other support units with the same priority as other units in your army. It will prevent your key units from being over-focused.
- Enemy equipment has been weakened, particularly shields and armor.

Hail Clerics of the Order,

Today we bring you the news about an upcoming update that is entirely based on user feedback received through steam discussions. We feel that working closely with our community is the right way to make the game better and more accessible for everyone. We hope everyone enjoys the quality of life improvements this new patch brings. So here goes:

Quality of life improvements

- Unit evasion chance now being calculated differently. The dodge chance is now calculated randomly, without taking previous values into account. Purely based on the character's dodge parameter,
- The info icon above characters has been removed, to prevent misclicks. Now you can open the information window by clicking the right mouse button while hovering over the character model.
- Screen edge scrolling. The settings menu now offers the option to disable auto-camera movement when the cursor moves to the edge of the screen.
- The mini-icons of character abilities can now be turned off in the settings to prevent misclicks when hovering over movement tiles. However, translucent icons were still left for your convenience, to indicate the locations from which you can attack the enemy.
- Stoneskin Elixirs, Healing Elixirs, Ironskin and Teleportation Elixirs will no longer be given to AI enemies on base difficulty.
