Izane works for Yurukill, Inc. as Gentoku’s chaperone. She is mysterious and doesn’t leave much of an impression, and it’s difficult to tell how old she is. You could say she was in her teens or in her thirties and no-one would bat an eyelid. She is extremely timid, and prone to bouts of sobbing. Yet she sometimes makes sly remarks to her teammate, Gentoku.

"I'm sure people will quickly find out once they start playing, but Izane is a very idiosyncratic character, and she was a lot of fun to play. I want everyone to get their hands on the game as soon as possible just so they can see how crazy she is! At first glance she seems pretty feeble, but, well, things aren't quite what they seem. Let's put it that way. Anyway, I hope everyone plays the game once it comes out. I suppose Izane turns out to be a fairly important character... Although you can say that about all of them, Izane is definitely something special. I said it before, but I really can't wait until you can get your hands on Yurukill! It's such an interesting game—I really hope people play right through till the end."

"Gentoku Omuro looks like the kind of guy who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and he has this really refined, gentle way of speaking. But the further into the story you get, you start to see another side of his character—to me that's what's so appealing about him. Just like Gentoku, I think there's a lot lurking beneath the surface of the other characters too, so I hope players enjoy delving into that aspect of the game. Yurukill... it's a hell of a ride, haha. When I first saw the title, I got the feeling it'd be a pretty disturbed story. But then again, you've got the "Games" aspect of the title to consider as well—which really piqued my interest and got me thinking just exactly what kind of game this was. I think ultimately, the main draw of this game is the fact that when you start to unpack it, there's all sorts to dive into. Having done voice work on the game, I can say that everything about it, including the characters, is really distinctive. I hope players leave no stone unturned when they try Yurukill: The Calumniation Games out!"

"I recorded so many lines as Kagura, and I can still feel the corners of my mouth twitching into a smile—that's how cheerful she is! She's such a fun, frivolous teen!
She has some funny little catchphrases, too, and I hope players are won over by her! Honestly, I still haven't gotten her completely out of my system. I bet even Kagura's got all sorts going on in that cheerful, lackadaisical head of hers. Or does she? Maybe she doesn't? Or maybe she does... Haha. If you do a little bit of digging there's plenty underneath the surface. Which I think sums up the game pretty well. Not only is it an exciting new fusion of shoot 'em up action and puzzles that'll have you scratching your head, it's also packed with deep characters brimming with personality.
